How International Women’s Day (March 8th) Originated in China
What many do not realise is that the UN stole the date for an international women’s day from Communist China. Chinese language texts state that in n December 1949, the State Council of the Central People’s Government stipulated March 8th each year as ‘Women’s Day’.
