The controversy erupted after The Daily Telegraph revealed an internal BBC memo showing that an October 2024 Panorama episode, Trump: A Second Chance?, had stitched together two segments of Trump’s speech on Jan. 6, 2021, delivered more than 50 minutes apart. The edit created the misleading impression that Trump was directly urging supporters toward the Capitol riot, sparking public outrage and prompting The New York Times to label it as the BBC’s “worst crisis in decades.”
Most of the far-right are hyper-individualistic and thoroughly anarchic in their attitude and activities (these individuals are the true terrorists). Anarchists are usually pro-fascist and very rarely support any form of anti-fascist protest. Indeed, genuine anti-fascist movements are just as likely to oppose Anarchist as they are far-right movements and activities. It is clear that neither Trump (nor his Advisers) understand exactly what “Antifa” is – and how they can ban it. Just as the US declared war on the abstract concept of “Terrorism” – he has declared war (sort of) on the abstract concept of “Antifa”. This will be interesting when Special Police Units target terrorists in the US – as they will be applying an anti-fascist ideology. Trump might have to arrest his own Police if the law is to followed. It is the usual ahistorical and anti-intellectual nonsense we are used to coming out of the US.
The reward for this ‘Socialist’ sacrifice has been the Bourgeoisie systematically demonising the Socialist presence, the Socialist past and the Socialist future. The Bourgeoisie has showered the very ‘far-right’ the Socialists defeated with all the awards and accolades that were once destined for the Socialist world. The enemy of humanity which was defeated by the Socialists has now been lifted up out of its own ashes and respectfully placed on a pedestal by the Bourgeoisie. The youth of today are trained to ignore the sacrifice of their great grandparents – and instead eulogise the fascist ideology of those they once bravely fought against and gave their lives to stop! The Bourgeoisie does not care just as long as its power remains unchallenged and unchanged. The fascist ‘tickling stick’ lies, lies and lies again to temporarily empower itself whilst always keeping the Bourgeoisie firmly in power. Fascism keeps rising and falling in and upon itself over and over again – as this is the part the Bourgeoisie has assigned to it in this drama. Only the structures of Scientific Socialism reveal the dynamics of this ongoing illusion and explains how such a delusion is to be overcome!
The Communist Party Forum elected the following governing bodies: the Republic Committee, the Polit-Bureau, the Secretariat and the Control and Auditing Commission. Igor Gumenyuk (Игорь Гуменюк) was elected First Secretary of the Republic Committee. The following were elected Secretaries and Members of the Polit-Bureau: Alexander Ermolenko (2nd Secretary), Valentin Popov (Валентин Попов), Dmitry Koshman (Дмитрий Кошман), Anatoly Sobolev (Анатолий Соболев) and Stanislav Rozhnov (Станислав Рожнов).
This day will forever remain in the memory of every Lugansk Communist – as this is a starting point for the work of a NEW Russian Communist Party Organization. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is the ONLY force in Russia that cares about the plight of the working people and which has been supporting the beleaguered people of Donbass for the last eight years now (since 2014)!
A few years ago, I acquired a Two Volume Set entitled the Essentials of VI Lenin (1947) from Comrades in the ‘New Communist Party’ (NCP) in London. The NCP was busy embracing the North Korean ideology of ‘Juche’ and were happy to jettison overt ideological works pertaining to the USSR – such as those involving Lenin and Stalin. Their loss was my gain (although a modest amount of money did change hands) and I acquired the full Stalin Collection and a very good (and quite ‘rare’) Two Volume Edition of Lenin – published at a time when the USSR was still riding high following its 1945 Victories over Naxi Germany and Imperial Japan – and before the US Cold War had fully kicked in – (falsely equating as it did the USSR with Nazi Germany). A point to remember is that the Nazi Germans (and their allies – which included the Vatican) murdered around 41 million Soviet men, women and children – far more than officially died in the ‘Holocaust’ (although at least in-part, the Nazi Germans carried-out some of the ‘Holocaust’ killings whilst occupying Soviet soil). The USSR, of course, betrayed Lenin and Stalin through the behaviour of Nikita Khrushchev in 1956 – a known coward who fled the fighting in the Ukraine during 1941 to save his own skin! The USSR as founded in 1922 must be applauded for the working-class achievement that it was, and which it remains! We must strive to keep its memory alive by correctly telling its story! Author’s Note: Some years ago, I acquired some rare volumes of books from the library of the ‘New Communist Party’ (NCP) in London. This noble institution possessed a number of collections directly linked to the old ‘Communist Party of Great Britain’ (CPGB) – which dissolved itself in 1991 during an ideological panic. The NCP had broken away from the CPGB during 1978 on the principle of wanting to continue in the tradition of respecting the reputation and history of Comrade Joseph Stalin. Since then, of course, the NCP has twisted and turned in its ideological alignment and orientation – but I am very grateful for the thirteen volumes of the Collected Works of Joseph Stalin this organisation furnished myself with – particularly as this set included two further books, a Short Course in the ‘History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Bolshevik)’ and the ‘A Short Biography of Joseph Stalin’! All these books were printed (in English) in the Soviet Union and are very respectful ‘hardback’ editions. I have placed various extracts on this blog as a tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the USSR – which happened on December 30th, 1922 – and here I place a short extract of the biography of Joseph Stalin! It is clear that there could be no USSR without the defeat of Trotskyism – very much an ‘enemy within’! ACW (26.12.2022)
