The UK developed such a Police Force in 1800 – but this was long after the US went her own way. I think there is an argument that the White Authorities of the US developed a Police Force as a means to control America’s non-White populations – perhaps a point you may have previously made in your work. The idea being that breaking the law is something non-White people do – evil acts that must be seen to be punished!
This demonstrates that before the development of advanced human society – communality was (and remains) the basis of human evolution. The modern emphasis on individuality is a cult-like worship of a temporary (artificial) state of affluence. It is hardship that is the normal condition as this possesses the resources for every species to potentially develop given the right conditions. Affluence is the product of the intelligent use of human greed. The routine ownership of fire-arms is ‘banned’ in most Western Europe countries! What is interesting is that the rebelling American government in the 1770s attempted to ‘militarise’ it’s British population against its rightful (elected) London government by overturning King Henry VIII’s (16th century) general ban on private weapon ownership. The King had dissolved the ownership of private armies as part of the dismantling of the feudal system and as a security against his fellow nobles launching an armed coup against his leadership! From that time onwards, the only military force allowed in the UK has been the British Army controlled by the Crown – and then after Cromwell (in the 17th century) Parliament. However, during the 18th century the British government was afraid of invasion by the French and for a time a law was in effect which allowed Local Militias to be formed – manned by the good and the well-off who could afford to pay for their own uniforms, pistols, muskets and training, etc. Interestingly, this law was active during the American War of Independence and it could be that the American rebels got the idea of arming their population from the British policy of preparing it’s homeland population to meet the threat of Napoleon.
Hundreds of thousands of men volunteered for service in the Armies of the Confederate States of America (CSA). This included Black, Asian and Indian men, etc, as well as countless Whites. Of course, many foreign men slso volunteered. Out these, tens of thousands paid with their lives or were maimed and wounded. They fought for a genuine freedom that would have eventually benefitted everyone regardless of race! It is sad to see the racists steal their flag and misrepresent their cause!
Today, the US is spreading its anti-intellectualism across the globe through the policy of ‘constraining’ how the internet is used. Where the internet is not operational, the US achieves the same effect through military boots upon the ground! Whereas the internet ‘bans’ those who do not conform to the auspices of US anti-intellectualism – the US military simply ‘kills’ those who do not conform. Being ‘woke’ – that hideous US construct – is really the Trotskyite left (which is actually of the right), dominating and controlling the political and cultural narratives operating Bourgeois within society. The far right, and right-wing accuse the ‘woke’ fraternity as being the archetypical ‘left’ – and limit all political critique to its machinations! This policy is a sleight of hand which excludes the genuine Marxist-Leninist left completely from of the picture. The mainstream is convinced that a stratum of the Bourgeoisie is in fact the ‘left-wing’ and that no other leftist interpretation exists (or is allowed to exist). This policy has been so successful that many Socialist and Communist groups exist to reinforce this stereotype and conform fully to this Bourgeois manipulation of history and historical interpretation. This is how the Bourgeoisie controls and limits the political debate within the societies it controls. By misrepresenting the left, the Bourgeoisie prevents any genuine ‘Socialist’ movements from developing and privileges the ‘Trotskyite’ movement and advocates these groups as being the only acceptable expression of the left. This ‘rejection’ and ‘misrepresentation’ of Marxist-Leninism becomes the only allowable expression of ‘Marxist-Leninism’! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
The capitalist West is embarrassed by the very fast and efficient manner in which the Communist Party of China has transformed a socio-economically backward (feudal) China into one of the happiest, safe, vibrant, creative and wealthiest country on earth – all achieved since 1949 through the application of Marxist-Leninist (Maoist) ideology! This may be compared to parts of the US which remain just as educationally, culturally and economically backward today – as they were in 1776 – or parts of the UK whose working-class populations live a life of deprivation not far removed from the days of the English Civil Wars in the 1640s! Xinjiang was thoroughly deprived in 1949 – and yet through Socialist Reform in a number of similar areas (Tibet is another) a rapid and thorough transformation is being experienced! In a mere 73-years of Socialist Reconstruction the lives of the people of Xinjiang are advancing in quality at a rate which worries the West – as it draws a bad comparison to the swathes of working-class, poverty-stricken areas that permeated the US, UK and EU – highlighting a systemic deprivation caused by the greed of the bourgeoisie which is now creeping its way through Eastern Europe via the vehicle of Western-backed and Western-sustained Neo-Nazi Movements! Just as ‘NATO’ was used by the US to blanket-bomb ‘Socialist’ Yugoslavia into rubble for 78-days in 1999 – ‘racism’ is an equally important tool deployed by the capitalist West against China – as it is designed to carry-out the damage perpetuated by bombs and bullets during times of relative peace!
