Fan-Fiction: Davros Meets Trotsky (1938)

Leon Trotsky was expelled from the Soviet Union in 1929 – after being found guilty of treason. He had been trying for years to reinvigorate capitalism and feudalism in the USSR probably from even before the 1917 Revolution. When coming to the West, his ideology was viewed by the capitalists as a natural opposition to genuine Scientific Socialism, and received official support (and can be seen in the work of George Orwell). The point of Trotskyism is to mislead the working class whilst claiming to free it. To support capitalism whilst claiming to overthrow it, etc. Indeed, in 1938, Trotsky – whilst aligning his movement with the Catholic Church (and its support for fascism) – called for his followers to support Nazi Germany in its upcoming attack upon the Soviet Union. This was just after his meeting with Davros…

Deconstructing Dr Ramtanu Maitra’s Article – Should the UK Apologise to India? (6.10.2023)

The rhetoric of this article is not ‘Socialist’, but Indian ‘Nationalist’ along the lines of the BJP and such historical (anti-Soviet) Indian leaders as Chandra Bose (1897-1945). If the UK should ‘apologise’ to India, then India should apologise to the world (and its own suffering masses) for becoming ‘capitalist’ in 1947 (when the British Labour Party granted it ‘Independence’), whilst its politicians deliberated rejected the ‘Socialism’ the Indian people so desperately required, instead adopting a pro-Western and anti-Communist position in the world. Genuine Marxist-Leninists should be very careful before associating themselves with this type of Trotskyite (distorted) narrative. This article is neither ‘Marxist’ nor ‘Leninist’, but smirks of the very nationalistic racism it claims to be exposing and uprooting!

Supporting Jodie Whittaker as Dr Who

Indeed, the UN Report stated that the British media – which included the BBC – was behaving like the media of Nazi Germany in the 1930s as Hitler ideologically targeted Jews, Communists, Romany, the Disabled and anyone who opposed his dystopic view. I see no reason why the BBC should be allowed to hide its Crimes Against Humanity behind a veneer of responsibility that is Dr Who. Having re-engaged Series 11 (and watching single episodes out of sequence), I find Jodie Whittaker playing a very good Dr Who, with her unusual co-stars all playing their parts at different times and in different ways. Chris Chibnall has produced a multicultural masterpiece which I now support after ideologically ‘divorcing’ it from the BBC that produced it. Seeing an openly ‘gay’ King James finally melted my heart and has led to me re-positioning my stance over this series. My position has been strengthened against the misogynistic attacks upon Jodie Whittaker, and those who express a racist dislike of the series simply because of its elaborate multicultural cast! Dr Who is liked in Communist China due to its progressive science and perceived leftwing bias – and long may it remain so!
