Spain: Prime Minister – Pedro Sanchez -Urges EU to Recognize the State of Palestine! (1.12.2023)

He said he has heard from representatives of Muslim nations that Western peace conferences do not work because promises are not complied with.

“I think they are right. Because all these years, we’ve watched as Israel has systematically been occupying Palestinian territory in the West Bank. And now we are seeing what’s happening in Gaza,” said Sanchez.

Sanchez expressed his concern that without peace, the conflict could spill into other nations like Lebanon, Egypt or Jordan and destabilize the Mediterranean region.

“Do we really want to have two open fronts? One in the Middle East and one in Ukraine? Politics and diplomacy should help prevent that, and that is what the Spanish government defends,” Sanchez said.

Of note, nine of the 27 countries in the EU have already recognized the State of Palestine. In 2014, Sweden became the first EU member state to unilaterally recognize it.

Israel War Crimes: Zionists Kill Two Jenin Children During “Truce”! (30.11.2023)

According to local sources and eyewitnesses, the army conducted a wide-scale arrest campaign in the refugee camp, and evacuated residents in the Damaj neighborhood from their homes amid intense confrontations.

The sources added that the Israeli army also bombed a house with a drone, and demolished infrastructures such as water, electricity, and sewage networks with bulldozers.

Jenin has long been a center for Palestinian resistance groups. Israel says the camp is a hub for planning and preparing militant attacks as well as a safe haven for fighters funded by Hamas or the Islamic Jihad group.

Gaza: 160 Young Palestinian Bodies Recovered Under Rubble in Past 24 hours! (29.11.2023)

WAFA correspondents in Gaza reported that rescue crews have so far relied on manual and primitive methods to dig out the bodies, in light of the lack of machinery and equipment to remove the rubble.

Non-final data indicated that about 6,500 missing persons are still under the rubble, or their fate is still unknown, including more than 4,700 children and women.

Since the start of the temporary humanitarian truce on Friday, rescue and ambulance crews, as well as citizens, have been trying to recover as many bodies as possible with whatever capabilities they have.

The last five days revealed the horror of the humanitarian catastrophe that befell the Gaza Strip, as 300,000 housing units were damaged as a result of Israeli air, land and sea bombing, including 50,000 housing units that were completely destroyed.

Despite the truce, the occupation prevented citizens displaced in the south of the Gaza Strip from returning to their cities and towns in the North, as the occupation forces stationed on Salah al-Din Street fired bullets at citizens who tried to reach the north to inspect their homes and search for their missing family members, which led to the killing of three people, and injury of others.
