Israel Launches Airstrikes on Syria in Response to 2 Rocket Attacks! (9.4.2023)

The unusual rocket attacks came amid days of escalating violence on multiple fronts. The Israeli army on Thursday and Friday struck southern Lebanon and Gaza Strip as Israel accused Hamas and other militant groups of being responsible for firing dozens of rockets at Israel.

The latest tension was triggered by Israeli raids of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, during a sensitive holiday time as Muslims were observing the holy month of Ramadan with prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and Jews were commemorating the Passover holiday.

Over the past years, Israel has conducted a shadow war in Syria, with numerous airstrikes aimed at Iranian targets or weapons convoys belonging to Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Lebanese group. However, the Israeli-Syrian border has remained largely calm.

The Golan Heights is a disputed territory that Israel seized from Syria in the 1967 Middle East war and annexed in 1981, in a move not recognized by most of the international community.

Yellow Submarine: How the Beatles Invented Pyrhonesque Cartoons! (9.4,2023)  

As for its surface structure – I think that with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ we are seeing the essence of how the Monty Python team presented their ideas to the world! As Monty Python sketches are available all over the internet and streaming services – most people are better acquainted with this form of communication than they are with that seen in the ‘Yellow Submarine’! This tends to give the inverted notion that the Monty Python methodology came before the ‘Yellow Submarine’ – but we all know that this is not true! Just a quick perusal will demonstrate to the average viewer that Terry Gillian must have been inspired and motivated by The Beatles output and philosophical intent (which seems ‘Anarchic’ at this point and definitely ‘Existential’). The working-class norms that all four Beatles were brought up within are there – but so is the ‘freedom’ from this conditioning – and that’s all the ‘Yellow Submarine’ represents! The problem was the difficulty of psychologically conveying this ‘freedom’ whilst still being physically ‘stuck’ in exactly the material conditions assumed to have been thrown-off due to some type of superior insight! This is the ‘idealism’ of The Beatles! It was their millions of pounds which gave them an enhanced sense of ‘choice’ whilst living within a capitalist society. Immense wealth and success constituted the foundry within which the superstructure of the ‘Yellow Submarine’ was hammered out – whilst the imbibing of LSD was the bottle of Champaign (or non-descript ‘infrastructure’) that was smashed against its side – and which launched it into the stream of human consciousness! Do with it as you will.

Palestinian Factions Praise Military Action in “Tel Aviv”! (9.4.2023)

For his part, Tariq Ezz El-Din, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement, said: “The Operation is a natural and legitimate response to the Occupation’s crimes and attacks on our people and our sanctities,” adding that “this qualitative Operation proves the ability of our people and their Resistance to deliver painful blows to the Occupation, and re-aligns the compass of the conflict towards the heart of the criminal enemy and its illegal Occupation.”. In this context, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine congratulated the Palestinian people on the “Tel Aviv” Operation – stressing that it “comes in response to the Zionist Occupation’s crimes in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the aggression on the Gaza Strip.”

Puppies: New Comrades for Our Commune! (8.4.2023)

These dogs are eight weeks old and are (chipped) and weaned. The mother looked really tired and exhausted after carrying her pups, giving birth and then raising them! She needed a break and it is good that we are in position to pay the purchase (courtesy of Diane Wyles) and relieve her burden! The owner of the mother is a good woman who is very organised, clean, tidy and honest! She treated us with respect and good grace! The dogs are very happy and have obviously been very well looked after! We got up on Saturday morning and headed out in the car toward Reading at around 1030 am! We arrived somewhere on the outskirts of Reading around 1245 pm! We saw the mother and then we let our two daughters choose which dog they thought was the best for them! Kai-Lin – although only six years old – has performed excellently at school and passed all her tests and so she is rewarded for her good labour! The (larger) dark brown and black dog is called ‘Zain’ chosen by Kai-Lin) and the (smaller) brown and white dog is called ‘Basal’ (chosen by Mei-An and named after the Swiss Chapter of the First International represented by the ‘Red Triangle’ which was eventually used in the centre of the Socialist Flag of the Spanish Republic – 1936-1939 – and used to denote the ‘International Brigades’).

Palestine: Statement – Media Office – Lebanese-Palestinian Coordination Committee for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners! (7.4.2023)

Fourth: We declare our full support for the benevolent Palestinian people who have never been reticent in offering their finest youth, children and women for the sake of the (Revolutionary) liberation of Palestine! We also extend our greetings to our mothers in Palestine who gave birth to a resistant generation that does not fear death for the sake of its land!

Fifth: The commission salutes the prisoners who are fighting the battle of Unity in the face of the Zionist enemy – especially Sheikh Khader Adnan – and the thinker and leader Walid Daqqa, wishing him (and all sick prisoners) recovery!

They also discussed the activities that will be held to commemorate the Palestinian and Arab Prisoners’ Day this month – provided that they start with a central activity after Eid Al-Fitr – on Wednesday 26.4.2023. Glory to the martyrs – healing to the wounded – and freedom to the brave prisoners!

Palestine: Operation Jericho “Blessed” By ALL Unified Resistance Factions! (8.4.2023)

The Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine considered that the Operation is an actual, natural, and practical response to the crimes of the Zionist Occupation and its continuous terror against Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying: The heroic and qualitative operation of the Jordan Valley deals a new blow to the Occupation and to the entire security and military system – carrying a message that the Palestinian people will continue their Revolution and Resistance – stressing that the success of the People’s Resistance of the Palestinians in carrying out their operations in light of the state of oppression and persecution that the enemy is trying to impose is evidence of the fragility and weakness of this Occupier!

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement saw the heroic Operation as an act of resistance that consolidates the integration of all the confrontational fronts in confronting the Israeli aggression and defending Al-Aqsa and the holy sites, appreciating the heroic Operation that proved the correctness of the Resistance approach in responding to the crimes, arrogance and brutality of the occupier!

The Operational tide flowing in the West Bank and the strikes of the Resistance from Gaza and Lebanon is a practical response that proves that the escalating aggression against the Palestinian people can only be restrained by a greater Resistance in the heart of the temporary Occupier! It is worth noting that Resistance Fighters carried out a heroic shooting attack near the “Hamra” intersection in the Jordan Valley, in the city of Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank. As a result, three fascist settlers were killed, while the Resistance Fighters withdrew safely!
