BMA (UK): Where Buddhist and Christian Monasticism Intersect! (1.5.2024)

Well, Buddhists in Korea and Vietnam have inflicted two humiliating military defeats upon the US and its allies (the UK was involved in the US War of Aggression in Korea 1950-1953). Furthermore, Buddhism, as a non-White religion, has facilitated Socialist Revolutions all over Asia – and still produces ordained monks and nuns who still call for Socialist Revolutions as a means to re-distribute wealth and solve much of the poverty problems in the world. Indeed, Buddhism is viewed as a threat to the White Establishment and its preferred religion of Christianity (a reformed strand of Judaism). Click the above link to learn more…

Prayer Ban Upheld!

Email: To Pray or Not to Pray – that is the Question! (17.4.2024)

Since the Tories came to power in 2010 – Christian prayers have been re-introduced throughout all kinds of otherwise Secular government and schooling programmes – on the grounds that this activity represents “British” tradition. My children are not Christian (like half of their class) – but have no choice but to attend the Morning Assembly and being forced to participate in Christian Prayers, etc. Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jews and atheists, etc. have no choice. The idea is that the UK is a “Christian” State rather than a “Secular” State (Cromwell abolished the original Church of England).

碧霞元君 - Bi Xia Yuan Jun - Goddess of childbirth!

Daoism: Ming Dynasty Stone Inscription Discovered in North China! (27.3.2024)

The inscription discussed contains the name of the above Temple – plus the additional characters of – Miao (庙) = Temple and Ji (记) = Records – the full name of the inscription is “碧霞元君庙记”. This female Daoist Deity is associated with Mount Tai (泰山 – Tai Shan) situated in Shandong province – and is regarded as a protector of childbirth, and the instigator of each new dawn (which brings hope and renewal), as well as the good destiny of others. This Goddess governs human longevity and is said to judge the deceased. Interestingly, this Goddess listens to the prayers of children in distress – especially male children (sometimes ensuring male offspring) – but she never abandons the well-being of girls and women.

BMA (UK): Why the Workers Should “Shake the Spear!” (7.3.2024)

I suspect there must be a constructive “rejection”. What comes next is not written in stone. What comes next is unwritten. It could be that an intelligent worker – that is an oppressed entity who can read and write – can infiltrate the culture of the oppressor and work to bring it down from within. This is an important observation as the “lessening” of oppression in one part of society – may well relieve the burden of suffering inflicted upon oppressed individuals somewhere else within society. As the choice of dialectical development is essentially infinite, in theory there is no limit to the objectives that can be achieved. Things are not simple – but neither should there be a “fear” that limits expression.

Archery as an Ancient Art!

Daoism: Archery in the Central Plains! (5.3.2024)

Indeed, as a distinct body of rituals – Confucianism is older – with Daoism developing later. The problem is that historical elements of both ideologies exist within China’s early history. These elements eventually diversified into specific and distinct schools of thought – that seem ‘different’ in practice (which they are) – whilst sharing similar or identical concepts. Term ‘道’ (Dao) exists in Confucian thought as well as in the musings of Laozi and Zhuangzi! Above is my short research paper on the ‘中’ (zhong1) ideogram in relation to archery and ‘hitting the target’.
