Jerusalem: Clashes broke-out between the Zionist Police and anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jews – who dared to raise a Palestinian flag in the Mea Shearim neighbourhood! These Jews are beaten by the Israeli Police! I support and protect Jewish people from this kind of treatment – but like these brave men – I oppose the ideology of ‘Zionism’!
Orthodox Jews view ‘Zionism’ as ‘wrong’ and are striving for Palestinian rule in Jerusalem! Jewish rule in Jerusalem is, in their view, a ‘sin’ because it was not proclaimed as being ‘correct’ within Jewish Scripture! Furthermore, the very idea of a ‘State’ of Israel is viewed as a deviation ‘away’ from correct Jewish Scripture!
This is an ‘anti-Zionist’ demonstration involving the flying of a Palestinian flag! The Israeli Authorities have decreed that such symbols are NOT allowed to be hoisted in the Mea Shearim area – although such flags can be seen (from time to time) at secular demonstrations against legal reforms!
