The day before yesterday, the Palestinian champion – Ali Al-Saleh – managed to win the Professional World Kickboxing Gold at lightweight (WKU) for the third time in a row. The hero – Ali – raised the flag of Palestine in the coronation arena – affirming his affiliation and continuous love for Palestine! Al-Saleh traces his roots back to the village of Al-Khalisa in Northern Palestine!
The National Union strongly condemn (and denounce) the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on its worshipers by the Zionist enemy army! The National Union also condemns the broader Arab (and international) SILENCE regarding the massacres (and genocide) being committed against the Palestinian people – and calls upon all National and Popular Forces in Lebanon to close ranks and unite in word and deed! Each militarised position must steadfastly confront the blatant Zionist aggression being carried out against Lebanon and Palestine!
The National Union calls upon the United Nations (UN) and all Arab and international Human Rights associations to participate in the exposure and condemnation of the brutal practices carried out by the Zionist Occupation Authorities against the Palestinian people and to loudly pressure all International Forums in order to stop the blatant aggression against Gaza and Lebanon!
The unusual rocket attacks came amid days of escalating violence on multiple fronts. The Israeli army on Thursday and Friday struck southern Lebanon and Gaza Strip as Israel accused Hamas and other militant groups of being responsible for firing dozens of rockets at Israel.

As for its surface structure – I think that with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ we are seeing the essence of how the Monty Python team presented their ideas to the world! The working-class norms that all four Beatles were brought up within are there – but so is the ‘freedom’ from this conditioning – and that’s all the ‘Yellow Submarine’ represents! The problem was the difficulty of psychologically conveying this ‘freedom’ whilst still being physically ‘stuck’ in exactly the material conditions assumed to have been thrown-off due to some type of superior insight! This is the ‘idealism’ of The Beatles! It was their millions of pounds which gave them an enhanced sense of ‘choice’ whilst living within a capitalist society. Immense wealth and success constituted the foundry within which the superstructure of the ‘Yellow Submarine’ was hammered out – whilst the imbibing of LSD was the bottle of Champaign (or non-descript ‘infrastructure’) that was smashed against its side – and which launched it into the stream of human consciousness! Do with it as you will.
For his part, Tariq Ezz El-Din, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement, said: “The Operation is a natural and legitimate response to the Occupation’s crimes and attacks on our people and our sanctities,” adding that “this qualitative Operation proves the ability of our people and their Resistance to deliver painful blows to the Occupation, and re-aligns the compass of the conflict towards the heart of the criminal enemy and its illegal Occupation.”. In this context, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine congratulated the Palestinian people on the “Tel Aviv” Operation – stressing that it “comes in response to the Zionist Occupation’s crimes in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the aggression on the Gaza Strip.”
