Our First Visit to Hampton Court (23.6.2019)

We drove to Kingston earlier that morning and boarded the local river boat to traverse the Thames during a 30 minute journey. We arrived (by boat) at Hampton Court pier at around 12pm on Sunday, the 23rd of June, 2019. When reaching Hampton Court, we were surprised to see people from all over the world wandering around and enjoying the ancient architecture merged with all modern conveniences. What was once a royal residence is now open for the general public to explore and enjoy. As Hampton Court Palace is a very large structure, I am sure we will add further blog posts after subsequent visits (our second visit is planned next Saturday)! As matters stand, we have already had to split all our photographs from our visit to Hampton Court Palace into three separate blog posts simply because there was so much to see and do – and we still have not yet conquered the famous Hampton Court Palace Maze!
