The Undemocratic Nature of US Foreign Policy and Facebook Fascism

Let’s get serious for a moment. Facebook is a software company that peddles a social media platform. In other words, it is merely an ‘app’ which we – the people – make use of to communicate with one another. It is an ‘inanimate’ object – a piece of dumb technology – that only functions (and has ‘meaning’) when we make use of it. Yes – there is a group of controlling people behind Facebook who support predatory capitalism and US neo-imperialism – but just because this cartel holds these viewpoints (and tends to design Facebook protocols in pursuance of these objectives) – does not mean that we (the users of this software) must agree with the ideas that its developers currently hold. A software company is not a ‘World Government’ and neither is it a ‘World Police’. Other than developing a commercially viable company (banned in Communist China), it should have no say in politics or influence the World Media in anyway – and yet Facebook acts as the social media arm of the US Government’s foreign policy – seeking to obliterate all other cultural viewpoints of the world other than that ascribed to rightwing, capitalist America! Most social media platforms are politically neutral – allowing their membership to express whichever political view they favour – but not Facebook, which like that other arm of US foreign policy (the EU) it follows a distinctly ‘anti-Socialist’ policy. Under the dangerously stupid Administration of the ultra-rightwing President Donald Trump – the fascistic tendencies of Facebook have been allowed to flourish like never before! Now, as a means to stifle ‘Freedom of Speech’ and ‘Political Diversity’, Facebook has initiated a new policy which is applied within different Nation States like a sovereign ‘law’ – only without the democratic process. This involves all non-US citizens having to supply their name, address and a valid passport if they want to boost a post containing political content! This Facebook edict already operates within the US (with the power of a ‘law’ although not passed by any democratic legislative body). Facebook has no democratic or judicial power to make laws outside of the established processes of government and legislation. In this sense Facebook operates in a completely ‘undemocratic’ manner that is fascistic in nature. Facebook possesses NO power to ask any of its users to prove anything, let alone justify their political views. Voluntarily giving your name, address and passport details to Facebook is tantamount to giving your personal details to the rightwing, fascistic US Government! Do not do this as it can be dangerous! Never co-operate with fascism! Throughout human history, groups have gone to war with one another over infringements of sovereignty such as what Facebook inflicts upon the International Community!
