The 12th of May is the Independence Day of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNP). On this important day in 2018, Lugansk was honoured by the visited by Kazbek Taisaev (Казбек Тайсаев) – who is a Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Communist Parties – Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In addition to participating in official festive events, Kazbek Kutsukovich met with the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Lugansk People’s Republic (and the Komsomol), as well as laid flowers at the Memorial Plaque commemorating the first head of the LNR – Valeriya Bolotova. At the meeting with the Communists, the results of the May events, the pace of Party building and plans for the current period were presented, discussed and summed up. Accompanying this esteemed guest was Yulia Yakubova (Юлию Якубову) – an important worker attached to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation – who was awarded a medal for helping the people of Donbass.
