This is why I think the criminal who is the subject in this article may well receive a highly draconian sentence – and I think he deserves it. He possesses so many more rights in Socialist China and he should not have broken the law by exploiting others. I also think those who visited this criminal for s’x should also be punished.

In Moscow, Harry Puyi learned to dress himself, hold his own penis when urinating, and clean himself whilst defecating. When the Trotskyite – Khrushchev – betrayed Stalin in 1956, the Sino-Soviet Split developed (Mao stayed loyal to Stalin) and the Soviet contribution to the Chinese Revolution was pushed into the background and discussed less openly in public. It is ironic that it is a capitalist Russia which has been pushed closer to a Socialist China – and that it has become expedient for both sides to brush-off elements of their shared history for mutual political benefit. Until recently, many young Chinese people were not taught that the Soviets had any part in their eventual liberation. As Marx said – history often repeats itself twice…

Remember, Karl Marx firmly rejected pointless acts of terrorism – which he defined as being separate and distinct from the acts of genuine working class self-defence. The point is that the working class must possess iron-like discipline if it is to achieve its objectives within a bourgeois society. Pointless acts of individualistic “terrorism” ultimately achieve nothing positive, and always lead to the working class being collectively punished for the actions of a few. Now, on the Bronx Anti-War site, and many others like it, there is a general eulogising of the actions of one “Elias Rodriguez” – a Hispanic-American man. Indeed, there is a very well-developed “Free Elias Rodriguez” Campaign much to my astonishment.

I suspect the ancient Greeks encountered Buddhist monasticism when visiting India (such as Pythagoras), learned the Buddhist method of “looking within”, and then adjusted the technique as a means to “prove” the efficacy of their particular philosophical perspectives (the work of Plotinus may be taken as an example of this endeavour). Later, via the Greeks, a community of Jews (in Qumran) started sitting in meditation to personally attain a “glimpse of Yahweh” – a practice that eventually spread to the reformed Jewish sect of “Christianity” – whose adherents started to meditate whilst sat in the caves found in the Egyptian Desert (this type of Christianity spread to Britain – hundreds of years prior to Catholicism – becoming “Celtic Christianity”).

China: World Autism Awareness Day – Joint Efforts in China Light the Way for Children with Autism! (2.4.2025)

Over the 18 years since its establishment, the institution has expanded from a small classroom with just three teachers and five children to a centre with 54 teachers capable of helping more than 300 children each year.

Teachers take the children to farms, theatres and playgrounds, allowing them to try their hand at activities such as making soybean milk, picking fruit, feeding animals and riding horses.

Sun still remembers the despair she saw in the eyes of parents of autistic children back in the 2000s, when there were few specialized institutions to help them. Having trained as an educator, she brought two other teachers to Beijing to study before they established the first educational centre for children with autism in Shenyang.
