International Women's Day - 2025!

Laos: International Women’s Day [March 8th] Celebrated in Vientiane! (9.3.2025)

“In 1910,” she added, “the first international conference on women’s issues was held in Denmark, with over 100 representatives from 17 countries. The conference officially recognized March 8 as International Women’s Day. Since then, March 8 has become a significant political event, marking a fundamental victory for the international women’s movement in the struggle for the legitimate rights and interests of working women worldwide. The movement’s slogans include ‘8 hours of work a day, equal pay for equal work for men and women, health protection for women and children, opposition to war and aggression, and the preservation of world peace.’ Today, March 8 is celebrated in many countries around the world.”

Marcus Detrez - Japanese War Crimes!

France: Citizen Donates Photograph-Album Documenting Imperial Japan’s War Crime Atrocities in China! (19.2.2025)

A sharp contrast to scenes of tranquil lakes and bustling food stalls on the streetside, the photograph shows a civilian, whose head has been completely blown off, lying on the ground.

The chance discovery made in the garage of his family home in 2021 put the 26-year-old on a truth-seeking journey that offered further evidence of the wartime atrocities committed by Japanese soldiers during China’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), as well as the resilience of local residents — which is all documented in a collection of 622 photographs.

Detrez, accompanied by two friends, arrived in Beijing on Saturday to donate the photos to China. They also plan to visit Shanghai to see venues shown in the pictures.

US & Zionist War Crimes!

Palestine: US-Zionists “Test” Illegal Weapons on Civilian Bodies! (9.2.2025)

It is worth noting that the use of thermal weapons in Gaza is carried out regularly, as part of the comprehensive war of genocide, which makes it necessary for the international community to intervene immediately and more effectively in order to limit their use and pressure the Zionist entity to stop using them against civilians. International humanitarian law prohibits the use of thermal bombs and weapons that cause disproportionate damage or excessive suffering to civilians in populated areas. The Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907, and the Geneva Conventions of 1949 also prohibit the use of thermal bombs. The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court also classifies the use of thermal bombs as a war crime. However, the United States continues to supply the occupation army with these weapons, which it uses in full view of the international community. This raises the question of how long the Zionist entity will remain above the law, and international legal bodies will remain silent about this inhumane situation in Gaza despite the conviction of its leaders of war crimes, and the issuance of arrest warrants against the former Prime Minister and Minister of War. However, calls are increasing from some countries and some human rights organizations to hold the Zionist entity accountable and condemn its leaders as war criminals. However, the lesson is in the implementation, especially in light of the absence of the Arab voice.

UK: Bleak Poverty Statistics "Wearily Familiar" - Joseph Rowntree Foundation! (6.2.2025)

UK: Bleak Poverty Statistics “Wearily Familiar” – Joseph Rowntree Foundation! (6.2.2025)

Larger families with three or more children have consistently faced a higher rate of poverty, it says: 45 per cent of children in large families were in poverty in 2022/23. Disabled people, carers, renters, people claiming benefits, and people in workless households were also at a disproportionately higher risk of poverty.

More recent figures were equally bleak, owing to the continued affects of the cost-of-living crisis. In October 2024, about 2.6 million of the poorest fifth of households (44 per cent) were in arrears with their household bills or behind on scheduled lending repayments; 4.1 million households (69 per cent) were going without essentials; and 3.2 million households (54 per cent) cut back on food or went hungry.

Library of Congress“Dead Horse of Confederate Colonel; both killed at Battle of Antietam,” by Alexander Gardner

CSA: Piles of Thread-Bare Confederates at Antietam [Sharpsburg] – Notes on Their Sacrifice! (31.1.2025)

The Union Army paid the farmer $1 per dead Confederate body and the farmer made $60 out of the deal. He dug a new well in a different place for the cost of $2 – making a wartime profit of $58. No one knows the names of these Confederate soldiers – and if it was not for a report being made by the Union soldiers concerned – no one would know about these men today. Of course, there was great bravery on both sides – but the spin placed on the war by the winners has skewed how the Confederacy is viewed today. These Confederate men (and boys) advanced into the Union fire with the utmost discipline and determination. They believed 100% in their cause – which was for the freedom of their individual countries (termed “States”). At the time, this war was not only about slavery – but has been made ONLY about slavery since 1865. Many believed the federalisation of the United States was a betrayal of the 1776 War of Independence – and nothing short of a great evil!
