Winston Churchill was appointed Secretary of State for War and Secretary of State for Air. Although responsible for the demobilisation of the enlarged wartime British Army serving in France, his influence in all aspects of domestic British government was substantial. He used his authority to order the British Army to break strikes and quell all working-class protest and descent.
The British working class should work to expose Churchill’s anti-Socialist attitudes and support all non-White people in their condemnation of his racist attitudes.
After an open trial held in Moscow (by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR) Sergei Druzhilovsky was sentenced to be shot. Soviet sources make it very clear that the ‘Zinoniev Letter’ episode in the UK was the work of intelligence operative Major Desmond Morton, and that in the shadows behind him was the nefarious Winston Churchill.
In 1936, the hundreds of thousands of British working class people (inspired by the Communist Party of Great Britain but not the Labour Party) stopped the fascist Oswald Mosley and his ‘Blackshirts’ during the Battle of Cable Street (in East London).
Although the IBMT does sterling work, it also pursues a narrative that plays-down the ‘Communist’ and ‘Socialist’ nature of the International Brigades, and the fact that the Soviet Union recruited, funded, armed and trained volunteers from around the world through the National Branches of the International Communist Party.
My considered article about Winston Churchill – designed to coincide with the latest bourgeois propaganda movie release ‘Churchill’.
