China Developing Well!

China: Explaining The West’s “Over-Production” Fear-Peddling! (3.10.2024)

Portraying China’s manufacturing capacity as a global risk, this narrative is a variant of the “China threat” rhetoric, with its toxic seed germinating in the hotbed of the West’s anxiety, or probably fear, due to China’s manufacturing rise.

From a low-cost manufacturing base to the world’s largest manufacturing powerhouse and an up-and-coming leader in advanced industries and innovation, China’s rapid elevation has unsettled some Western countries, who perceive it as an intolerable challenge to their industrial and trade dominance.

Responding to China’s manufacturing prowess with such apprehension smacks of hypocrisy and also ignores basic economics. China’s production capacity was seemingly not a problem at a time when many Western corporations capitalized on the country’s low-cost original equipment manufacturer (OEM) production capabilities.

Neither was it a problem when Western superiority was underlined by China having to sell a billion pairs of socks to buy a Boeing airplane, nor when China’s spare-parts production abilities helped propel worldwide sales of high-value-added products such as Apple iPhones.

China: Door “Closed” on the International Adoption of Chinese Children! (6.9.2024)

After China’s Reform and Opening Up of the early 1980s, Americans adopted thousands of Chinese orphans, which on the surface became a good story in the history of Sino-US exchanges, but which was used by the US to cast all kinds of negative allegations onto the the Chinese Socialist System. Even before this – from the second half of the 19th century to the 1930s – there was also a social trend of large-scale adoption of Chinese orphans in the US, known as the “Orphan Train Movement”. This is odd – as the “Chinese Exclusion Act” was passed by the US government in 1882 – designed to keep all Chinese people “OUT” of the US! This was the first Act in history to exclude a group of people entirely premised on their “race” – and is an Act that has been subsequently used across the Western world as a template for all xenophobic legislation.

Sammi Kinghorn won World Championship gold over 100m in Paris last year

Paris Para-Olympics: BBC Celebrates “Non-Chinese” Victory! (6.9.2024)

The BBC “celebrates” that the “Chinese” Para-Olympic Athlete – Gao Gang (高芳) – was defeated, not as an opposing sportsperson, but simply because she happens to be “Chinese”! The reality is that the capitalist West does not value people with disability – as their minds and bodies are considered “unexploitable” from a typical commercial perspective – or if exploitable, to a far lesser degree then a person considered “able”, and so on. This is why the capitalists have referred to disabled people as being “Invalids” – that is a “person without validity”. Nothing has changed in essence – despite much appearing to change on the surface. I fully support all people with disabilities – including Sammi Kinghorn (what an achievement) – but I do not accept BBC racism disguised as sporting commentary. Furthermore, people with disabilities are stronger joining together in an “Internationalist” collective – rather than separating into competing camps of Bourgeois spite, pettiness, and reaction. Socialist China values people with disabilities – the capitalist West does not – and this is demonstrated through the PRC’s total domination of the Medal Table at the Paris Para-Olympics!

Ethnic Tibetans Flock to the Aid of the PLA - 1962!

Tibet: How India Came to the Aid of the Capitalist West in 1951- and How India was Humbled By the PLA in 1962! (9.7.2024)

Things looked good for India – a country that desperately needed Socialism – but whose population was still mired in a pre-modern religiosity. Even today, following decades of being granted free money and aid from the West – only 10% of Indian’s population is literate – whilst 90% still lives in a state of abject poverty! China’s commitment to Korea meant that conditions were not yet right to liberate Southern Tibet from its Indian invaders during 1951. This campaign would have to wait until 1962 – when Mao Zedong had had enough of Indian arrogance and ignorance – and ordered the PLA into action. I have translated a Chinese-language article about this era in Chinese history and added it as a distinct page (linked above).

Cotton Production in Xinjiang!

Chandran Nair: White Racism Behind West’s “Anti-China” Hysteria! (26.5.2024)

Nair pointed out that the negative reports in the Western media that there are “Concentration Camps” for ethnic minorities in Xinjiang are “complete lies” and “it doesn’t take a rocket scientist’s mind to see through them.” In Yuli County, Xinjiang, cotton farmers conduct spring sowing operations (photo taken on March 29, drone photo). Photo by Xinhua News Agency reporter Hao Zhao Before Eid al-Fitr, Nair posted a video on social media showing how Muslims in different countries celebrate Eid al-Fitr. It started with a scene in Xi’an, China. “When I shared this video with some friends, they actually asked, ‘This is China?'” Nair’s reply to his friends was – “You should really go to China and see it with your own eyes.” “More non-Western sources are needed”!

Chinese Volunteer Army Attacks US Troops!

DPRK: US, UK, France, Germany, New Zealand & Australia – “Illegally” Deploy Military Assests in Korean Waters! (13.5.2024)

Meanwhile, such allies of the U.S. as Germany, France and New Zealand have also dispatched their warships and warplanes to the Asia-Pacific region including the waters around the Korean peninsula one after another this year, encroaching upon the security interests of regional countries and escalating the military tension in the region.

In particular, an Australian warship, dispatched to the waters around the Korean peninsula, let a military helicopter go into action and threaten the maritime and air security of a surrounding country, thus creating possibility of a dangerous armed conflict.

Such military intervention, conducted by the above-said countries under the pretext of implementing the so-called UNSC “resolution” and abiding by international laws, is contrary to the purpose and principle of the UN Charter with sovereign equality and non-interference as its core and poses a visible threat to peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region as a whole.
