Zheng Qihao, a Games official from Guangzhou, said smart, barrier-free modules were installed across various venues. These include emergency help buttons, accessible query platforms, smart service pillars and online sign language translation machines, all connected to the venue’s central control system.

A technology exhibition at the main media centre showcased products such as AI-powered accessibility systems, guide dog robots and advanced all-terrain wheelchairs, all of which generated significant interest from visitors.

“These products are equipped with advanced balance control algorithms and reliable mechanical structures, ensuring stability and user safety on various terrains,” said Liu Yi’an, an employee from a smart wheelchair manufacturer.

Meanwhile, on a different part of the battlefield, the Union scored yet another decisive victory at Vicksburg on July 4th, 1863, the day after the defeat at Gettysburg (a conflict had been raging at Vicksburg since the beginning of the war – with the defending Confederates scoring a number of victories – but nothing decisive). Nevertheless, despite these heavy-blows, General Lee managed to muster what was left of his Army and retreat in good order back to the South – and continue the war for another two-years.

A video explaining the extensive achievements made in the Protection of the Rights of Disabled living in the DPRK this year – was shown at this meeting.

An art group of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled then gave a performance of the patriotic song entitled “We Love Our Country!”

Prior to the main meeting – the participants attended an exhibition of photographs showing the happy life of People with Disabilities! Such Comrades are deeply valued and lead a life full of blessings under the best Socialist System the DPRK can provide! (End)

US: Seattle Police Officer – Daniel Auderer’s – “Disgusting” Remarks on Indian Student – Jaahnavi Kandula’s – Death Spark Outrage! (16.9.2023)

“We have taken up the matter strongly with local authorities in Seattle and Washington State as well as senior officials in Washington, D.C., for a thorough investigation and action against those involved in this tragic case,” the Consulate General of India in San Francisco said in a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Seattle Police Department’s traffic collision investigation squad later reported that Dave struck Kandula at approximately 63 mph (101 km/h) in a 25 mph (40 km/h) area, and Kandula was thrown approximately 138 feet (42 meters).

In a statement this week, the police department said that the recording was identified by an employee “who was concerned about the nature of statements heard on that video.”

The video was sent to the city’s Office of Police Accountability “for investigation into the context in which those statements were made and any policy violation that might be implicated,” the statement said.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is now conducting a criminal review of the crash.

Zhang said the mint was a national-level one. Xi’an used to be the capital of the Western Han Dynasty when the city was called Chang’an.

In December 2015, archaeologists from the CASS Institute of Archaeology and Xi’an’s institute of cultural relics protection and archaeology jointly launched the excavation work of the site.

The latest round of excavation started in March 2021.

The discoveries are of great significance to the study of coinage technology and the changes in monetary and economic policies of that time, said Zhang.
