If Waterfield is wrong about the reality of the USSR – how can he be trusted to formulate a reliable biography about Plato? Stalin possessed no real power as an elected General Secretary. His elected post was one of “Regulation” – as all the decisions formulated by the numerous Committees (controlled by the workers) were passed through his Office for application and ideological verification. Suspect, incomplete or badly formulated decisions were “Returned” to the various Committees for reconsideration. Waterfield pursues a disturbing agenda which all readers must be suspicious of.

The Romany are opposed to the LGBTQ+ community and lifestyle – associating such ideas with paedophilia and paederasty. The fear is of child sexual abuse being facilitated by the British State – a deficient activity outlawed in the USSR and Socialist Romania. Indeed, many of these Romany attitudes, which may or may not be correct, might stem from the times of Socialist reconstruction – 1945-1989 – and reflect a progression away from pre-modern modes of thoughts and behaviours.

US Firms Sanctioned for “Separatist” Taiwan Arms Sales! (14.7.2024)

The other two are from AeroVironment. They are Wahid Nawabi, chairman, president and CEO of the company, and Kevin McDonnell, senior vice-president and CFO.

These executive’s movable and immovable properties, as well as other types of assets within China, will be frozen. All organizations and individuals within China are prohibited from engaging in transactions, cooperation and other activities with them.

Also, the five senior executives will be denied visas or entry into China, including Hong Kong and Macao. The countermeasures come less than a month after China sanctioned entities and senior executives of Lockheed Martin for the same reason.

China has on many occasions voiced its firm opposition to the U.S. selling arms to the Taiwan region, saying such moves are serious violations of the one-China principle and the three China-U.S. joint communiques.

Ethnic Tibetans Flock to the Aid of the PLA - 1962!

Things looked good for India – a country that desperately needed Socialism – but whose population was still mired in a pre-modern religiosity. Even today, following decades of being granted free money and aid from the West – only 10% of Indian’s population is literate – whilst 90% still lives in a state of abject poverty! China’s commitment to Korea meant that conditions were not yet right to liberate Southern Tibet from its Indian invaders during 1951. This campaign would have to wait until 1962 – when Mao Zedong had had enough of Indian arrogance and ignorance – and ordered the PLA into action. I have translated a Chinese-language article about this era in Chinese history and added it as a distinct page (linked above).

Easy Rider - Kim & Putin Best Friends! 2024

The pair were saluted by a string of military guards atop snow-white horses before making their way past a group of adoring children clutching balloons and waving and smiling at the two great leaders. Other revellers were seen touting huge portraits of the Russian President standing beside the Russian flag – the colours of which adorned the facades of buildings around the square. The ceremony also gave Kim a chance to introduce Putin to a host of key figures in his Politburo, including Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui; top aide and ruling party secretary Jo Yong Won; and his powerful sister, Kim Yo Jong, who besides her role as chief ideologue has in recent months become a fiery-tongued resister to US oppression. After touring the square, Kim and Putin then travelled together to Pyongyang’s Kumsusan State Guest House, North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency said, for their first talks together on North Korean soil.
