(ECNS) — A prominent Chinese artificial intelligence researcher has left U.S.-based AI firm Anthropic to join a rival company, citing what he called Anthropic’s “anti-China statements” as the primary reason for his departure.Yao Shunyu (姚顺宇) left Anthropic after less than a year and joined Google DeepMind because he strongly opposed the start-up’s description of China as an “adversarial nation” and its broader rhetoric, according to a post on his website Monday.
Ahead of the rallies, the Chinese embassy in Seoul expressed regret on Thursday that some politicians in South Korea are spreading disinformation. Certain far-right groups are holding demonstrations targeting China in areas such as Myeong-dong and Daerim-dong in Seoul, where Chinese tourists gather. The embassy is located in Myeong-dong.
In a statement, the embassy said that the planned rallies were ill-intentioned and against public sentiment. It noted that they were held on a festive occasion when Chinese people celebrate National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, while South Koreans celebrate the National Foundation Day and Chuseok holidays.
The embassy urged the South Korean government to guarantee the safety and lawful rights and interests of Chinese citizens in the country.

If unions still had power, there would be well-paid jobs for life. The legality and justness of the DPRK-Russia relations based on the new development-oriented point lies in the fact that they are the cream of inter-state relations that put an end to the era, in which a handful of countries formed an illegal and confrontation-oriented political and military group and resort to arbitrary practices at will, and establish a multi-polar world order based on genuine respect for sovereignty, equality and justice.
