The Important Work of Brian Victoria – Exposing (Fascist) Japan’s Murderous ‘War’ Zen! (13.2.2023)

The point was that the Zen Establishment in Japan from 1868 onwards pursued a purely right-wing ‘Nationalist’ agenda which included the use of Zen meditation as a form of brainwashing that programmed generations of young Japanese men to ‘kill’ or ‘maim’ the declared (and racially inferior) ‘enemy’ without any psychological or emotional hindrance on their part. This type of corrupted ‘Zen’ turned the Japanese ‘martial arts’ into vehicles of mass murder – and Zen Buddhism into an agency of fascist ideology akin to the Hitlerism pursued within the Nazi German ‘SS’. Following WWII, and particularly following the 1949 Socialist Revolution in China, the US revitalised many elements of the ‘fascist’ Japanese Establishment – particularly ‘Zen’ and the ‘martial arts’ – artificially spreading these attributes throughout the Western world as a means to ‘counter’ and ‘side line’ the presence of the Chinese Overseas population. The US government was of the opinion that ALL Overseas Chinese people were threats to American capitalism and liberal democracy.

Taiwan (1895-1945): Fifty-Years of Imperial Tyranny Under Japanese Rule! (24.8.2022)

One of the policies of assimilation was the promotion of enslavement education. Japanese education became compulsory for all Taiwanese (Chinese) children! The Japanese Colonial Authorities set up ‘Public Schools’ and ‘National (Japanese) Language Training Centres” to teach Japanese language and culture. This included Japanese martial arts such as the brutal ‘Swordsmanship of Bushido’ (and later such as ‘Karate-Do’, ‘Judo’) – designed to instil the Japanese National Fighting Spirit. In the school, the Japanese colonial teachers publicly shouted: ‘It is absolutely forbidden to use Chinese language or practice Chinese martial arts and those who are dissatisfied will be deported to ’Zhina’ [支那] (Japan’s disparaging name for China).’ Banning Chinese language and martial culture and popularizing Japanese is the most venomous move in Japan’s aggressive assimilation policy!

On the other hand, enslavement education prevented Taiwanese (Chinese) people from receiving higher education. Chinese students were excluded from college and university – except in special circumstances. Under this kind of enslavement education, Taiwan basically cannot find a secondary education institution suitable for Taiwanese people. This kind of discrimination was unbearable even for Japanese domestic educators that had to enforce it, and they even wrote articles criticizing it. Under pressure, the first civilian governor, Kenjiro Tian, decided that Taiwanese children with good Japanese could enter a good middle school and study in the same school with Japanese students. The Japanese Colonial Authorities preached that there was no racial difference in Taiwan’s education. In fact, this did not fundamentally change the discrimination against Taiwanese people in colonial education. Taiwanese higher education is basically enjoyed by the Japanese, and except for the Medical College and the Tainan Higher Commercial School, all other higher education institutions hold examinations in Japan. In the era of Japanese occupation, Japanese students accounted for more than 80% of Imperial University (later Taiwan University) attendees, whilst Chinese students accounted for less than 20%. The teaching content is mainly based on the dissemination of colonialist culture, whilst the history, ideology and culture of China were all excluded, so as to remove the influence of Chinese national culture at its root.

The US Kami-Kaze ‘Re-Education Concentration Camp’ at ‘Fukuoka’! (20.6.2022)

Those who survived this process describe it as comprising of continuous psychological and physical torture that lasted for around one-month and which was administered by uniformed US Servicemen! This sounds very similar to the contemporary US torture carried-out in Iraq (and other places)! Those now former ‘Kami-Kaze’ Pilots who survived this ‘Re-Education’ process were ‘discharged’ back into Japanese society whilst the US Authorities (with the collusion of the ‘new’ Japanese Authorities) ‘watched’ these men everyday – ensuring that their employment, health and housing opportunities remained very basic and at an impoverished level of existence. These former ‘Kami-Kaze’ Pilots received no pension, no back-pay and were not allowed to attend any Remembrance Ceremonies or have any Monuments constructed to ‘Remember’ the sacrifice of the ‘Kami-Kaze’ Pilots – despite the US Military Authorities ‘filming’ a number of these attacks (so ‘shocked’ were the Americans to encounter this tactic)!

USSR: Red Army Cavalry 1938 Model ‘Carbine’ (17.5.2022)

The concept of the ‘carbine’ may well have originated during the late 1500s in France and referred to the weapon these ‘Light’ Cavalrymen used to carry. In this instance, this may well have been a ‘slang’ term used in the French language which referred to mounted archers from Flanders who were considered deadly shots and sure bringers of ‘death’! (The association is unclear but may refer to an assumed connection between the ‘carrion beetle’ and the ‘plague’, etc). Whatever the origin, a ‘carbine’ appears to refer to a ‘short’ and highly effective weapon carried when sat in the saddle and used when riding the horse whether into or out of battle. The 1938 ‘Carbine’ Model measured just 1020 mm (or 3.4 feet) long (minus a bayonet) – and fired a round measuring 7.62 mm! The ‘Carbine’ Model 1938 was sighted to fire up to 1000 meters! The Izhevsk Machine-Manufacturing Plant was the only place equipped for producing this ‘Carbine’ between 1941-1942 – during the height of the ‘Great Patriotic war’ – when the workers of this factory produced over 1,106,510 which were sent immediately for frontline service!

Remembering the Soviet Red Army Cavalry! (10.5.2022)

This led to the cavalry being eventually phased-out and eventually abolished in 1955! Tanks, co-ordinated with artillery, infantry and airforce evolved into a much more effective striking and defence force that did not involve the risk of relatively high casualties experienced by the cavalry regarding horses (which are very high maintenance) as well as in men. However, all through the four-years of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), the Soviet Red Army Cavalry provided an important and vital anti-fascist force that directly took-on the forces of Nazi Germany and its allies from around the world (which were supported by the Catholic Church)! Although out-gunned and always facing the danger of total destruction from the modern technology deployed against them, the Red Army Cavalry utilised unusual tactics, surprise and bravery to overcome these problems!
