Why ‘GPs’ Are Not ‘Doctors’ in the UK! (7.1.2023)

Of course, it gets a little complicated if a PhD (or similar) is held by a GP and/or a Surgeon – but this does not alter the fact that a ‘GP’ is technically not a ‘Doctor’. A ‘Doctor of Philosophy’ (PhD) is not a ‘Medical Doctor’ qualification but is rather an academic rank (of which there are many versions such as in ‘Law’, ‘Literature’ and ‘Music’, etc). In theory, a ‘PhD’ (or similar) could well involve advanced medical research, but even so, the holder of this distinction would still be an ‘Academic Doctor’ who has diversified and specialised in a medical subject – pushing the theoretical boundaries of knowledge further back – whilst adding new and original thinking to existing understanding!

EH Carr (1946): The Ideological Impact of Bolshevism Upon the World! (1.1.2023)

EH Carr wrote objectively and in-depth about the history of the Russian Revolution (of 1917) and the development of the USSR (in 1922)! In many ways the work of EH Carr (which stretches to many volumes) is a fair ‘Bourgeois’ analysis of this crucial aspect of working-class history, as it covers virtually all the significant areas of 20th century development within the International Communist Movement! His work on the Bolshevik Revolution and the Soviet ‘Planned Economy’ represents a historical tour de force that covers not only ‘Russian’ history but also many of the key developmental issues effecting such countries as China, Korea and Vietnam, as well as those post-1945 countries throughout Eastern Europe that formed the ‘Communist Bloc’. Obviously, in the post-1956 Khrushchev-era fair-minded historians such as EH Carr were forced to ‘insert’ anti-Stalinist lies and disinformation into their work if they wanted it to be published! Most free-thinking individuals can read between the lines in a number of EH Carr’s later works which sometimes differ in part from the glowing approach he adopted pre-1956! On the whole, however, the infrequent and atypical interferences from under-pressure Publishers can be easily seen, duly noticed and discarded as being of no historical worth! EH Carr, writing very much like Antonio Gramsci whilst languishing in an Italian prison – had to write in a pro-Communist code that the average US-controlled censor was not smart enough to catch! Why Was the Dead Body of Karl Marx Not Cremated? (26.12.2022) 

What we do know is that the mortal remains of Karl Marx are believed to lay in the soil of Highgate Cemetery under a marble monument placed over the grave during 1956 (replacing an older and much smaller gravestone – the current location of which I do not know). Although Karl Marx is often (disparagingly) referred to as a ‘Jew’ – in no way was his burial in Highgate Cemetery in accordance with Jewish tradition (of respectful encasement within a spotless ‘Mausoleum’). At least on that footing we are safe. As there was no ‘Cross’ placed over his grave either – the idea of a ‘Christian’ burial can also be dismissed. We are then left with what looks like an ‘irreligious’ burial very much in accordance with the ‘Atheistic’ or at least ‘non-religious’ ideology of Marx and Engels! As this happened just before the development of ‘Cremation’ as a regular or officially sanctioned activity – the physical remains of Karl Marx still exist. I believe an interesting scientific study could be carried-out if these remains were exhumed and subject to extensive DNA testing. A far more secure and efficient casket could then be designed to hold these remains and they could be more securely interred – protected from the hatred of the Bourgeoisie, their religious lackeys and the political far-right!

UK: Strange Weather for December! (16.12.2022)

The Russian Academy of Sciences – one of the few institutions to survive intact from the USSR to a ‘capitalist’ Russia at the end of 1991 – stated matter of factly, that there is NO reliable, objective scientific evidence that ‘Global Warming’ is a ‘real’ phenomenon generated by the last 200 years of human Industrialised endeavour! On the contrary, the RAS clearly recognised that the Bourgeois West uses fearmongering associated with the ‘belief system’ surrounding ‘Global Warming’ as an excuse to bring-in political and economic sanctions which prevent Socialist and Developing countries from undergoing their own respective ‘Industrial Revolutions’ – and in so doing developing their own socio-economic structures, strengthen their individual countries and forge a better life for themselves! Such a ‘Luddite’ attitude maintains the status quo with ‘White’, Western European countries ‘dominating’ the world and ‘limiting’ the rest of the (non-White) countries from developing (by experiencing the same modernising processes) and becoming a threat to US hegemonic forces!

Covid-19: Chinese Logic Trumps Western Racism! (11.12.2022)

In the past three years, China has equipped itself with technologies and drugs that are proven to be effective in COVID diagnosis and treatment, and also made continuous progress in pathogen detection and epidemiological investigations. Over 90 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated thanks to China’s unceasing efforts in vaccine research and development, while people’s health awareness has also been greatly enhanced.

These aggregated factors have laid a solid foundation for the current epidemic prevention and control work, and provided the precondition for further optimizations.

It is worth noting that China’s fine-tuning of its COVID policy is proactive rather than passive. While advancing the latest optimization plan, China does not shy away from acknowledging the challenges, and is determined to ramp up vaccination efforts among the elderly and increase the capacity of intensive care units (ICU).

Different countries have different national conditions in terms of medical resources and demographic situations, and differ in sociocultural orientation. As the world stands at a crossroads and humanity is faced with COVID-19 as a common enemy, we need to focus on mutual understanding and cooperation, and must let go of ego and bias.
