If an ocean once existed in this region, climate changes could have trapped large amounts of water in the form of subsurface ice, which holds great potential for future Mars base water resources, significantly reducing the cost of construction and maintenance.

Fang emphasized that the ancient oceanic sediments preserve records of Mars’ climatic history. Studying these sediments could help people understand how the planet transitioned from a warm, wet world to a cold, arid one. This knowledge could guide efforts to terraform Mars into a long-term sustainable human habitation, according to Fang.

Fang mentioned that Zhurong landed in the southern part of Utopia Planitia in mid-May 2021. It is equipped with a subsurface penetrating radar to explore underground structures and potential water ice deposits.

The Caoyangang site, spanning over 80,000 square metres, has unearthed a wealth of items beyond the fire-making tools. Since the recent détente of the US and modern Russia – the Russian-language Yandex search-engine has once again become easily available via the Western internet. Since I last regularly accessed the “deep” Russian internet – I have noticed that whereas there was about a 50%-50% distribution of pro and anti Stalin articles – a new narrative has been ordered which portrays Stalin as a mass killer who also achieved one or two great achievements for the Russian people (the new orientation is roughly 25& pro and 75% anti). This is a Western (capitalist), reactionary, Trotskyite, and entirely fascist attitude. Furthermore, it is pseudo-history. Joseph Stalin was working-class (most old Bolsheviks were middle-class) and was Georgian – not Russian (Stalin rejected all forms of nationalism – including Russian). The Soviet Union was a collective of around 15 or 16 countries (depending on era) that acted in Socialist collaboration. The history of the Soviet Union is not the history of Russia – even if Russia was the socio-economic driving force. The point of the 1917 Revolution was a new era in human evolution – a step forward and away from feudalism and capitalism.

China: Electric AS700 “Airship” Makes Successful Debut Flight! (22.2.2025)

Domestically made airship AS700 will take off in later half of 2021, said Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) Special Vehicle Research Institute on Wednesday. The airship can hold maximum of nine passengers to meet the requirement of low-altitude tourism market, according to media report.

To meet the requirement of China’s and international requirement of low altitude tourism, the maximum range and flight time of AS700 airship can reach 700 kilometres and travel uninterrupted for 10 hours. Single line seats and wide-opened windows provide maximum of 9 passengers with a unique viewing experience.

Zhang Jinhua, senior designer of AVIC Special Vehicle Research Institute said the development and research of AS700 airship started from 2018. “With the development of tourism industry, modern airship is able to provide sightseeing, cargo and passenger transmission business basing on its economical and safe features,” said Zhang.

The dinosaurs are thrown-out by devout believers – and this explains “why” dinosaurs are now extinct. It is a strong argument that Trump wants to use to reform the schooling-system in the US – and then force this ideology onto the world at large. A mirror site will be built in Kyiv – where a wax-works of Zelensky will be placed prior to visitors throwing stones at the exhibit – until the wax-works is tossed over the side – into the “firmament”. Sounds good! Remember, the Americans have killed millions around the world (including within the Americas) to spread this nonsense around the world!

Weighing just around 300 grams — about the same as an apple — the robot can roll on the ground and take flight to pass over obstacles. It was created by a research team at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). The team has developed multiple versions of the aerial/terrestrial robot, achieving an endurance time six times longer than similar-sized unmanned aerial vehicles. These robots can be used to perform tasks such as monitoring, probing, and maintenance. They come in various forms, such as two-wheeled or spherical designs. They can be adapted to different terrains, and they can also be equipped with manipulators to perform screwing or pressing actions.
