London (Green Park): Canada Memorial (WWI & WWII) – Memorial du Canada! (25.8.2023)

This sculptured memorial is constructed of red granite which forms a ‘walkway’ divided into two distinct halves. One half represents Britain whilst the other half represents Canada and the two country’s joint participation in WWI and WWII. The inclined sculpture is inset with 506 bronze maple leaves (the Canadian emblem) and the country’s coat of arms. Water flows across the sloping surface and creates an illusion of floating leaves. Situated to the rear of the Canada Memorial is Buckingham Palaces,

Syria: PFLP Delegation Meets Chargé d’Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in Damascus! (11.7.2023)

Dr. Maher Al-Taher discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Cuban Embassy the idea of forming a Global Resistance Front to confront colonial domination and support the peoples struggling for freedom – working to isolate the Zionist entity and delegitimize its existence! This an idea that is being discussed and a concept in this regard is being developed within the framework of the Arab National Conference.

Palestine: Helping from a Distance – Fighting the Evil of Zionism! (20.6.2023)

The journey toward liberation and true unity begins within us, challenging us to make conscious choices and sacrifices. Diaspora must forge ahead to create the “popular cradle” that supports resistance inside and outside. To feel the fear of repression yet not be deterred, to see the intersections between our struggle and wider movements against imperialism, and to engage in resistance that illuminates the path: these are the steps we need to take.

Normandy: Remembering the Allied Sacrifices of D-Day (6.6.1944) – 79th Anniversary! (6.6.2023)

The British Glider Troops were tasked with seizing local landmarks (such as ‘Pegasus Bridge’) of tactical and strategic importance from the local Nazi German defenders – and hold these assets in the face of the expected Nazi German counter-attack. Meanwhile, Arthur Gibson (as a member of the Royal Navy) was busy protecting Northern Britain by preventing a Nazi German invasion – whilst keeping the sea lanes free of Nazi German ‘mines’ so that Allied Shipping could move (free of this risk) throughout the North Atlantic. This included the assisting of the Russian (Soviet) Arctic Convoys – although the presence of Nazi German U-Boats was an ever-present threat!

The Soviet Red Army “Liberation” (22.7.1944) of the Majdenak Concentration Camp! (6.6.2023)

This was the first official encountering of a Hitlerite Death Camp during WWII but even then – the West was beginning to disavow its alliance with the USSR – implying the regime habitually used ‘lying’ to mould material reality! The ironic point about this Western policy is that the misrepresentation of the history and ideology of the USSR in this instance – is that it represents a direct application of ‘Holocaust Denial’! We are taught in the West that Soviet suffering does not matter and that the 41 million dead Soviet men, women and children are probably better off dead! In fact, the suffering of the Jews has been meticulously recorded – although the US-controlled Wikipedia likes to continuously ‘reduce’ the number of victims in Camps ‘Liberated’ by the Soviets – whilst simultaneously ‘increasing’ the number of those who perished in the Camps Liberated by the Western allies! Due to the sacrifice of the Soviet Red Army in Eastern Europe – the survival chances of my grandfathers fighting in Western Europe were greatly increased! Thank you Russia – thank you USSR!
