Pyongyang, October 6th, 2023 (KCNA) — Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un – on Thursday – received a floral basket from Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, on the occasion of the 78th founding Anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea!
He stated that “strategic cooperation between our country and Russia constitutes a firm guarantee of international security and peace in the face of military operations,” explaining that “the alliance between the United States, South Korea, Japan, and NATO constitutes a serious threat to international security and peace,” stressing that Korea will always stand by the Palestinian people in his just struggle aimed at regaining all his legitimate rights.
My maternal (‘Gibson’) family used to live in Lewisham, East London – until they were bombed-out by Hitler during the Blitz of September 1940 (the Blitz would go on to kill 70,000 British people between 1940-1941 – with 40,000 deaths in London alone). It emphasizes the devastating costs of the battle, with around 41 million Soviet casualties including 27 million deaths. Furthermore, during the peak of the Battle of Stalingrad, Nazi Germans relentlessly launched approximately 40 attacks per day.
