Starbucks Declares “Buy or Leave” – as Israeli “War Crimes” Boycott Kicks-In! (15.1.2025)

Below, as an example the BBC refers to the Israeli “Genocide” in Gaza as the Israeli-Gaza War” – as if Gaza is a country (rather than a small area of occupied Palestine) that benefits from equal political support and possesses an armed force equivalent to that being armed and funded by the US, UK, and EU! Ordinary Palestinians “volunteer” to resist the Israeli aggression whilst lightly armed, and for no pay. This article briefly mentions a “boycott” vaguely linked to the Israeli “Genocide” – but tries to negate this association by suggesting “price rises” are the reason Starbucks sales have plummeted since the beginning of the Israeli aggression of October 2023. In fact, photographs of IDF soldiers returning from murdering innocent Palestiian men, women, and children – and holding “free” Starbucks coffees – has caused worldwide revulsion!

If booing from the gallery persists – I tend to direct the curious to my Jewish friends at the “International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network”. The delusion associated with theistic religion is the problem – not Joseph Stalin or the USSR. I say this as an academic expert in the study of World Religion. When an anti-modern and anti-science (inverted) belief system is entwined with racism – humanity has a massive problem on its hands. I say exactly the same about any narrow-minded religion be it Buddhist (my own), Daoism, Confucianism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, or any belief system which advocates hatred instead of progression.

The Need For, and Lack of, Objectivity

Everybody has biases. But everybody can learn to be objective in studying any subject, whether it be physics or history. The techniques are basically similar.

Objectivity as a scientific method is a practice of “distrust of the self.” You can learn to be objective by training yourself to become aware of, to articulate, and then to question your own preconceived ideas. You must be reflexively suspicious of evidence that tends to confirm your own preconceived ideas, prejudices, and preferences. You must learn to give an especially generous reading to any evidence and arguments that contradict your own preconceived ideas.

Emails: Infiltrating the US Far-Right! (4.1.2025)

What I do see is how the US White Supremacy movement has spread to the UK, Western and Eastern Europe – and has redefined what racism actually is. Although Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” is the bible of the far-right – which advises the racially pure to “lie, lie, and lie again” to secure power – in no way did Hitler believe all White people were “Aryan” or “racially” pure! Take the Polish as an example. Catholic Poland became a Fascist State in 1930 and there was widespread celebrations on the Polish streets when Hitler came to power in 1933. Goebbels had a State visit in early 1934 where he discussed the “Russian” problem and this led to the Poles opening the first modern Concentration Camp at Bereza in East Poland in late 1934 (formerly a part of West Russia – invaded by the Poles in 1920).
