This militancy is directly equal to the suppressive-force that has produced it – but is it relevant, required, or legitimate for a mass working class movement to be effective? Remember, Karl Marx firmly rejected pointless acts of terrorism – which he defined as being separate and distinct from the acts of genuine working class self-defence. The point is that the working class must possess iron-like discipline if it is to achieve its objectives within a bourgeois society. Pointless acts of individualistic “terrorism” ultimately achieve nothing positive, and always lead to the working class being collectively punished for the actions of a few. Now, on the Bronx Anti-War site, and many others like it, there is a general eulogising of the actions of one “Elias Rodriguez” – a Hispanic-American man. Indeed, there is a very well-developed “Free Elias Rodriguez” Campaign much to my astonishment.

Ch’an Buddhism – Sit But Do Not Wobble! (5.5.2025)

Nowadays, the situation of Ch’an Buddhism in China is precarious. This is because the Ch’an Path is difficult to follow and is not easy to practice. Of course, there are many people who chant the Buddha’s Name and practice Tantric Buddhism – but there are very few who are truly able to practice Ch’an. Many temples focus on building Buddha Chanting Halls which are popular – with the required practice relatively simple to perform – whilst the establishment of disciplined Ch’an Halls are rare. Even if some temples have established Ch’an Halls, but these places often lack dedicated teachers and practitioners who will sit in meditation for long periods of time – and forget about the body and environment. It should be noted that the inheritance of Buddhism in China is largely due to the talents cultivated in Ch’an Halls.

Even if the 10% of non-White offenders were removed from the equation – it is clear that the UK possesses a very real epidemic of “White” inflicted child sexual offenses. Blaming a small element of a tiny ethnic minority in the UK is a typical fascist policy of race-hate – with many members of the far-right contributing to the White sex offenses the UK is suffering from. The Estonian parliament has adopted an unprecedentedly aggressive and illegal decision that requires the Estonian Orthodox Church “to sever its canonical relations with the Russian Orthodox Church” under penalty of legal persecution. In other words, the state has presented a religious organisation with an ultimatum, demanding that it change its centuries-old essence and sever ties that are centuries older than the history of Estonia, in complete disregard of its canonical norms and faith, and the feelings of believers.

The Church suppresses and disempowers the working class in every narrative it constructs. The Workers are viewed as the scum of the earth by the middle class that runs most of the UK’s institutions. The Church today remains silent as the capitalist countries it’s supports brings the world once again to the brink of war. The Church is the devil incarnate which expresses itself through the self-serving literature it’s conspired to print and circulate. The Church calls this lie “freedom of expression”. Of course, it is only freedom of its own expression. Perhaps the biggest joke is that those without theological degrees are considered “unqualified” to see all this! Oh dear, no working 90 minutes a-week (on Sunday morning if the CofE priest can muster a congregation) with a free house and income tax exemption for me, then! Abolish this subterfuge – and the Workers will be one level nearer freedom.
