She was Martyred in June 1980 – when she was participating in a demonstration within Bethlehem University – where citizens clashed with the Occupation (Zionist) soldiers who opened fire on the demonstration!
Sadeq Al-Shafi’ee, a political analyst from the West Bank city of Ramallah, expected the new Israeli government to “use the most extreme degree of excessive violence to deal with the Palestinians trying to confront occupation.”

“What the elections in Israel resulted in is an opportunity for Fatah Movement led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and (Gaza’s ruling movement) Hamas to rise up against reality, end their internal division and make real unity to confront the coming future,” Sweilem said.
RAMALLAH, September. 17th, 2022 (Xinhua) — Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtaye on Saturday accused Zionist Israel of defying all the signed Peace Agreements and disregarding International Law!
He made the remarks during the annual Grape Festival held in the West Bank City of Hebron – urging the Israeli government to stop all its violations in the Palestinian Territories, according to a Palestinian statement.
“The occupation (of Zionist Israel) violates all the signed Peace Agreements and does not respect the law and international legitimacy,” Ishtaye was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Premier announced that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is on his way to participate in the meetings of the UN General Assembly, adding that “his message to the world is that ALL (Zionist) Israel’s (illegal) unilateral measures must stop!”
