China: Counter-Measures Taken Against US Companies – Selling Arms to Taiwan! (12.4.2024)

“The continued U.S. arms sales to China’s Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-U.S. joint communiqués, interfere in China’s internal affairs, and undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” according to a Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China No.5.

“Pursuant to Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 15 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Countering Foreign Sanctions, China hereby decides to take the following countermeasures against U.S. companies that participate in arms sales to China’s Taiwan region, including General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems，” it said.

According to the countermeasures, all the companies’ movable and immovable properties, and other kinds of assets within China shall be frozen. And their senior management shall be denied visas or entry into China.

Taking this opportunity, I again express strong concern about the fact that the UN human rights bodies to contribute to protecting and promoting the global human rights through ensuring respect and cooperation among states on the basis of the principle of the UN Charter have been abused as a tool of the U.S. and the Western camp for realizing their sinister political purposes.

Xinhua: US-backed “Summit for Democracy” Triggers Divisive Confrontation! (24.3.2024)

Washington’s bid to rally some countries against others, which has further entrenched ideological divisions, undermines efforts to foster genuine dialogue and cooperation among nations with different political systems.

Kwon said the “democracy summit” is being criticized as a divisive international conference to build a hegemonic international order with the United States at the centre. “The U.S. hegemonic action of weakening the function of the UN and leading a so-called ‘democracy summit’ is a hindrance to world peace.”

“By weaponizing democracy as a political tool,” said commentator Yirenkyi Jesse in an op-ed in The Standard, a leading daily newspaper in Kenya, “the United States seeks to assert its hegemonic dominance, dividing the world along arbitrary lines and sowing discord in its wake.”

Galloway's Nazism

UK: Brand & Galloway “United” in National Socialism! (23.3.2024)

Both Russell Brand and George Galloway represent the political far-right. Both suffer from the same irony that each rose to prominence pretending to represent the left. It is not the ideology of the left that has changed – but rather the inner dynamics of both individuals. Galloway ignored the “Left Out of Europe” (Lexit) campaign – which clearly described the EU as being a post-1945 US-controlled and directed anti-Socialist entity. In this regard, Galloway followed the virtue signalling of the mainstream media which sought to falsely present the debate as being either that of supporting the status quo (assisting the destruction of Socialism by default) or voting for the far-right. Galloway sat with his fascist chum – Nigel Farage – and took part in anti-migrant rallies hosted by multimillionaires! Both Galloway and Brand reject the “Internationalism” of the left – conflating this with an enforced multiculturalism or cosmopolitanism – and instead shockingly resort to a type of blanket racism which they think is an alternative to the presence of “difference” within our communities.

George Galloway, MP for Bradford West, is a Muslim. He converted more than ten years ago in a ceremony at a hotel in Kilburn, north-west London, attended by members of the Muslim Association of Great Britain. Those close to him know this. The rest of the world, including his Muslim constituents, does not.  

Over a halal, alcohol-free lunch at a cafe on Bradford’s main high street, Khan tells Galloway: “I know someone who attended your shahadah [the Muslim conversion ceremony].”  

He stares at me across the table, penetrating blue eyes squinted, pausing for the first time in an hour. His special adviser, a glossy-haired Asian Pakistani called Ayesha, looks into her daal while his new bride, Gayatri Pertiwi – a Dutch-born Muslim of Indonesian descent 30 years his junior, seated beside him throughout the interview – smiles at me.
