Russia: President Putin Meets President of Laos – Thongloun Sisoulith! (11.5.2026)

The Second World War became the greatest tragedy in the human history. During the war the Soviet Union was the main battleground in Europe, standing shoulder to shoulder with China fought in the Far East.

It was the USSR that took the main blow of Hitler’s Germany and satellites united under its banners and played the key role in destruction of fascism and militarism. Soviet people, having overcome the hardships created by the treacherous invasion, having endured through all horrors of that war, engaged in fierce combat with aggressors and paid the cost of innumerable lives to gain the Great Victory.

This triumph was ultimately significant for the whole world – the defeat of Nazi Germany and militaristic Japan signified the end of claims of the disciples of the inhumane ideology of fascism to global domination, their intentions to enslave whole nations.

Russia: 81st May 9th Soviet Worker Victory Over Fascism! (10.5.2026)

Although those days are gone – as the buffeting and protecting USSR and Communist bloc is no more – it could be said that the US definitely does now have a “Satan in the White House”! I would also place Obama right up there with both Bush’s contesting second place. Lincoln might be a close third. But I digress. During Trump’s first-term (Trump I) he was all about suppressing free speech. This blog was attacked by the US government along with millions of others. Software programmes attacked social media platforms often without the knowledge or consent of the owners. It was only after Trump lost, left office and his voice suppressed on social media that he suffered an about face and became all about “free speech” – but he is up to his fascistic tricks yet again! I cannot post any videos of the 81st Victory Parade that I have lifted from Telegram. When I attempt this – the video comes up “Private” and cannot be accessed by any viewers (the controls still say “public” and nothing can be altered, etc). So, yet again the US finds itself at the forefront of all reaction, revisionism, and dare I say it – blatant fascist oppression! We must work around this new threat to freedom. The US, UK, and EU have granted Neo-Nazi Ukraine billions in finance and more aggressive weaponry to attack Russia. Trump is directly behind this and this is why he does not want you hearing or seeing President Putin talk on May 9th – the video is suppressed like all the others. Instead, I will provide you with the written speech. On this day (May 9th 2026) the Army of North Korea participated to mark the sacrifice its soldiers made in freeing Kursk (the DPRK seems to treat modern Russia as the USSR). Onwards and upwards! The working class can meet and overcome all difficulties. Greetings to the millions of comrades in the US who reject Trump but whose voice is also suppressed. We hear you!

Cuba: May Day Speech Delivered at the Closing of the International Meeting of Solidarity! (3.5.2026)

When it is said that we are an extraordinary and unusual threat to the United States – and we are sure that this is not the feeling of the American people, that is the pretext used by the American government to attack us – one wonders: What is the threat, what is extraordinary about that threat, what is unusual about that threat, when Cuba is a country of peace, when Cuba is a country that has served as the setting for the main peace dialogues in the Latin American and Caribbean region, when Cuba was the place where the Catholic Church and the Russian Orthodox Church came to meet to resolve the schism they had maintained for more than fifteen hundred years?

I try to answer that question every day, but, as Bruno explains, there is no pretext, there is no reason to justify military aggression against Cuba. Well, that “extraordinary and unusual threat” may be the example of resistance and creativity of the Cuban people.

When we talk about solidarity, I think we are talking about three elements that distinguish the value of international solidarity:

One is the tenderness of the peoples, because among all of us we have learned to share something that Fidel taught us, and that is that we do not give out of solidarity what we have left over, but we give what we have to share it among all.

China: It Takes Time to Repair the US Lies About Tibet! (3.5.2026)

Mind you, he once chaired a meeting a Ruskin House in Croydon asking the bizarre question as to whether the USSR was “right” to fight the Nazi Germans during WWII – with the Trotskyite bias that it was not! And on and on it goes. Of course, it is the young who are vulnerable to this type of dishonesty on the left – as it drives them to the right. Not only that, but the current left is riddled with White dominance and perpetuates just as much racism as the right – whilst denying it is doing so. The corrupt left likes to pretend that whilst the White middle-class dominate it – the racism it displays does not exist. All lies of the highest calibre. Again, if you read Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Ho, and Che, etc, none of this is new and we must all battle every generation to make genuine Marxist-Leninism available for each new generation. The Morning Star eulogises the mirky world of professional boxing when everyone knows it is a thoroughly exploitative vehicle for the rich to pay the poor to beat each other up for the entertainment of the latter. The CPB continuously demands that its members support the bourgeois Labour Party – which proscribed the Communist Party in 1921. Trotsky would not only turn in his grave – but build a three-storey extension to celebrate this ridiculous revisionnism!

China: Why “China Shock 2.0” Narrative is a Distortion of China’s Growth! (26.4.2026)

Things will not racially improve if China just pretends (or even actually becomes) “capitalist”. As I write, I know Chinese students are being illegally taken into custody and forcibly questioned by the US authorities regarding their association with the Communist Party. China complains here and there about this – but does very little on the practical level as trade is considered more important – and that boat must not be rocked under any circumstance. Karl Marx wrote some very good articles for the US newspapers regarding China and its socio-economic development in the face of a ruthless imperialist domination. All genuine progressives must retain a lucidity and fluidity of thought in all circumstance (exactly what Mao Zedong did – as he literally “thought” outside his own ethno-centric predicament) – as this is the dialectical way. We must not become trapped in the rather childish Judeo-Christian cul-de-sac of a “good vs bad” dichotomy. Just because someone – or some entity – does not like you observing, discussing, or thinking about a certain aspect (or set of aspects) – this should not necessarily mean that you should abide by this imposed limitation of thought. Of course, the centralised democracy found within Marxist-Leninist countries is far more empowering – but we have to operate where we find ourselves in reality. This New Labour Party is now the enemy of the people. What once acted as a vehicle for many different types of Socialist Movements to gain power(although its middle-class leadership “Proscribed” the Communist Party in 1921) – it is now a soft-conservative sand thoroughly reactionary entity that is shutting down the NHS and torturing the nation’s elderly and disabled. We are not the US and we should not kow tow to the US industrial military complex. We are English and should display some bollocks in this matter! We should stand our ground. I grew-up in a Socialist Britain that was like a Soviet State with very little in common with the US. We must vote as far-left as possible to serve the best interests of the workers. I remember Joseph Stalin stating that he often thought of a poor family suffering due to unemployment – and based all his policies on relieving this injustice. Again, stand your ground. Vote as you will – but maintain your freedom of thought!
