Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, released the following press statement titled "G7 has no right to oppose the DPRK's sovereign option" on Nov. 13.

DPRK: “G7 Has No Right to Oppose the DPRK’s Sovereign Option”! (14.11.2025)

What is important to acknowledge is that there is a war of ideas and words in the world between a dominant White racism – and a continuous non-White resistance to that racism. I am sure Socrates would say it was illogical for those subject to tyranny and oppression – not to express dislike and rejection of that prejudice in word, deed, and thought. With the general lurch to the right (and far-right) we are currently witnessing throughout the Western world, young Europeans are being subjected to a wall of fascistic propaganda in virtually every walk of life, so that the false version of reality is presented. The tried and tested method is to install the warped prejudices of the older generation into the minds and bodies of the younger so that they can no longer distinguish fact from fantasy. The Old White Men’s club of the G7 seems to think that only White Europeans (refined as “White Americans”) should be entrusted to build and own nuclear weapons – when only Americans throughout history have been the only people on the planet to actually use such devices in warfare (twice) – incidentally, against a non-White (Asian) enemy (Japan). I suppose one of the greatest ironies is that via their access to US nuclear weapons – a rampant modern Japan now threatens North Korea in the name of Western (US) dominance on the Korean Peninsula.

White Poppy - End All Wars!

UK: Armistice Day – Popping-Out for Abit! (11.11.2025)

Of course, workers and peasants have periodically fought for their rights over hundreds or thousands of years, with the movements varying in size and strength. From rioting in the town square to full on and widespread uprisings. The historians of the feudal or bourgeois state, however, will have none of this, and will try to force you to remember only those wars and conflicts which reflect the will of the reactionary State. This is what Poppy Day in the UK is all about – and explains why we try to co-opt it for our own working class ends. We are shifting the onus away from middle class hypocrisy and toward working class practicality. That is all there is to it. No only this, but we are fighting Trotskyism and all working class reaction that wants to see all Socialism ended in the UK – rather than repaired, extended, and strengthened. Fighting the enemies lurking within the working class is as important as fighting the enemies outside the working class. Perhaps Chairman Mao had a thing or two to say about this.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Inspects Headquarters of 11th Corps of Korean People's Army

DPRK: Kim Jong Un Inspects Headquarters of 11th Corps of Korean People’s Army! (9.11.2025)

He warmly encouraged the soldiers who are devotedly fulfilling their sacred duty with the will to record only the brilliant and victorious military achievements in the history of the proud unit with legendary heroic tales, and in the colours of glory and had a photo taken with them, which will go down forever in the history of army building.

On the same day, he had a significant photo taken with the officers and men of the headquarters in commemoration of his visit to the large combined unit.

He expressed expectation and belief that all the service personnel of the large combined unit would more firmly prepare themselves to be the honourable guards and the ranks of point-men of the Republic with their bold heroism, strong mettle and matchless fighting spirit as their peculiar features.

US: More Federal Employees Turn to Food Stamps as Government Shutdown Enters 6th Week! (8.11.2025)

Analysis by the U.S. think tank Center on Budget and Policy Priorities indicates that about 1.2 million households, or nearly 5 million people — roughly 1 in nine SNAP recipients — will receive zero benefits because their normal benefit amounts fall below the planned benefit reduction.

Apryl told Xinhua that, as a single mother, she is eligible for the SNAP, but she is concerned that her payments may not arrive on time as usual. “That would be more money that I have to put out into the grocery store, which is very expensive; that takes money from bills that I already have or something else I have to do for my kid,” she said.

“I think this current episode of punishing or abusing the poor … is yet another example of what has been a long-term truth about this country: how the poor have frequently been injured or deprived because of the contempt of those who are either wealthier and/or in power,” said Greg Cusack, a former member of the Iowa House of Representatives.

US: Warning as Government Shutdown Deepens Impact on Travel & Livelihoods! (8.11.2025)

Baker noted that the U.S. has experienced shutdowns in the past decades, during which both parties had real differences but they also recognized the need for compromise. However, in this case, “that recognition does not seem to be there with the Trump administration and the Republicans.”

In his view, the Republicans “are mostly to blame in that they have not approached the deadlock in good faith”.

In order to streamline government and expand its own executive power, the U.S. administration wanted to use the “government shutdown” to advance large-scale layoffs of federal employees and closure of agencies related to the Democrats, according to U.S. media.

The Democrats also have their own calculations. The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) noted the standoff has become a messaging battle, with each party betting the public will blame the other.

US: Ticking Time Bomb as Debt Reaches New High! (8.11.2025)

“The reality is that we’re becoming distressingly numb to our own dysfunction. We fail to pass budgets, we blow past deadlines, we ignore fiscal safeguards, and we haggle over fractions of a budget while leaving the largest drivers untouched. Social Security and Medicare, for example, are just seven years from having their trust funds depleted – and you don’t hear anything from our political leaders on how to avoid such a disaster,” Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget President Maya MacGuineas said in a statement.

The critique lays bare America’s fiscal predicament, that is, political numbness toward systemic failures has become normalized.

While both parties remain deadlocked in partisan disputes over budgetary deals, they persistently avoid addressing the root cause of debt expansion.

The U.S. is stuck in a perpetual cycle of issuing new debt to service existing obligations—a spiral with no exit in sight. This relentless accumulation suggests the national debt bomb is destined to keep growing.
