The IRRRG statement, in an attempt to maintain its anti-intellectual (theological) position – then omits completely that once the US and Israel were finished with exploiting Iraq – they overthrew its Socialist regime and executed its leaders (including Judges) in the most brutal of fashions – the body of one Judge detached from the head as he fell through the trap-door) – all actions that Iran supported. Has this IRRG statement omitted these facts because they are inconvenient – and in fact embody the exact blue-print being deployed by the US and Israel toward Iran at ths exac moment?

So, here is the choice – a left-leaning Islamicist regime (that also attracts centrist and right-wing Islamic views) vs a right-leaning Zionist regime (funded by the US) – that is rejected by the left in the West. The analysis in the below article might be termed “secular” in the modern sense, as it attempts to materially (and impartially) assess the existential material conditions pertaining to the US-Israeli War on Iran. Press TV, of course, appears to be a UK based, left-leaning Islamicist-friendly channel supported by disaffected leftists (and former Labour MPs) – that pursues its own amorphous (but slightly Trotskyite) agenda. Marxist-Leninists must learn to “see through” the propaganda (left and right) and extract the required material details from it. This is one of our required survival skills – living within the capitalist system.

In contrast, recent reports indicate that China has provided Iran with new technology in an effort to prevent infiltration by US and Israeli intelligence, and to help Tehran defend itself from advanced US and Israeli warplanes.

This includes supplying Iran with advanced Chinese sensor systems and radars, such as the YLC-8B, capable of tracking stealth aircraft and conducting electronic surveillance.

US-based analysts speaking with theWashington Post sought to attribute Iran’s success in targeting US assets to Russian assistance.

Iran is “making very precise hits on early warning radars or over-the-horizon radars,” said Dara Massicot, an expert on the Russian military at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. “They’re doing this in a very targeted way. They’re going after command and control,” she added.

Nicole Grajewski of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government said there was a high level of “sophistication” in the Iranian retaliatory strikes.

If the reports are true – over 500 US military personnel have been killed in targetting strikes around the Middle East – including around 5-ships sunk or disabled for violating the closed seas around Iran. Iran is expertly using missiles and drones to good effect – but for how long? It is a clever use of asymmetric warfare as it bypasses the massive advantage the US possesses with its convectional airforce and bombers. Iran’s drone and missile technology is a remarkable development and adaptation. The main problem is that neither China nor Russia will come to the aid of Iran as the former values unhindered world trade over ideology – and Russia is already bogged-down in a costly proxy-war with the US in Ukraine. Harsh words condemning US actions are pointless whilst the US continues to inflict material damage on the world with impunity. The bourgeois media and broken education system in the West ensures that the proletariat are continuously taking the wrong-side – and sympathising with the oppressors against the oppressed.
