The initiative, launched four years ago through a collaboration between The Malta Trust Foundation and the Malta Paralympic Committee, initially focused on children with visual impairments. Under a renewed partnership, ISPORT+ will now broaden its sporting and coaching opportunities to include young people with physical disabilities.

Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, founder and chair of The Malta Trust Foundation, said the aim was to reach as many children and young people as possible and help them discover their potential through sport. She highlighted the confidence, happiness and sense of achievement gained by participants over the past four years.
