To remedy this situation, during March 1563, William Cecil drafted a “Bill for the Succession” designed for Parliament to debate and pass (as an “Act”) providing it received Royal Assent. Cecil suggested that if Elizabeth I died suddenly with no direct (or suitable) heirs, the Crown (and all its powers) should be temporally transferred to the Privy Council (effectively making England a “Republic”). Whilst this was happening, the English Parliament was to sit, discuss and then “vote” for the most suitable candidate to ascend to the throne – thus creating an “Elected Monarchy”! If this idea had been successful – virtually everything earned during the English Civil Wars of the 1640s would have been peacefully achieved around 80-years earlier! As matters transpired, Elizabeth I quashed the Bill by refusing to allow it to be discussed – or move to the voting and assenting stages.

Interesting food for thought and an interesting story recorded in Max Blumenthal’s book entitled ‘The Savagery of Violence’. Of course, I am no stranger in criticising Qatar and Al Jazeera – as my usual function is to counter Al Jazeera’s continuous attack upon Communist China – which is a staple of its ‘fake’ news coverage regarding the PRC!

Genius of Alexis Godillot: A History of the French Attaché (and English “Brief”) Case – and Why Shoes Fit on the “Left” & “Right” Foot! (29.10.2023)

‘In 1826, Godillot had another bright idea – developing a lightweight case with a hinged iron frame and a carpet covering. He had conceived it as being ideal for hunting and fishing – since these activities required lots of equipment but were too rugged for traditional trunks.’

As Alexis Godillot was born in 1816 – it is unlikely that he would have invented the Attaché Case in 1826 aged just “10-years old”! In fact, evidence suggests that Alexis Godillot invented the Attaché Case around 1843 – when Godillot was aged around 27-years old. The problem with this history is that sources state that Godillot founded a luggage firm (with his son) in 1843 – but if this was the case – his son could not have been older than 9-10-years old! What follows is essentially an informative advertisement – which I do NOT endorse. Huey Newton was not part of the ‘radical left’ as Zizek suggests – as the ‘radical left’ is a ‘White’ and ‘Trotskyite’ invention – the very enemies of genuine Marxist-Leninist-Maoism! If you really want to study Huey Newton – study Marxist-Leninist-Maoism and continue the very Revolution he participated within throughout his life! Expose these ‘Black’ Bourgeois organisations that seek to steal or working-class Revolution with their peculiar distortion of racism constricted to look like a dollar sign!
