In May 1947, September 3rd became a working day, although no one formally cancelled the holiday. And on December 23rd, May 9th also became a working day (the day off was moved to January 1st). And until 1965, there were no big celebrations on the occasion of the two days of victory in the USSR: everything was limited to fireworks and unofficial celebrations. When in 1965 – the year of the 20th Anniversary of the Victory – the country celebrated this holiday on a nationwide scale for the first time after the Great Patriotic War, they no longer remembered the second day of the Victory (Over Japan). It found itself in the shadow of the Victory Over Germany, although formally on May 9th all Veterans were honoured: both those who fought in the West and those who fought in the Far East. And over time, May 9th began to personify the Soviet Victory in World War II in general, and almost no one remembered the September date. And if, nevertheless, there was talk about Victory Over Japan, then only September 2nd was mentioned – as the day of Japanese Surrender.

Russia: State Duma Votes to Re-Instate Soviet “Victory Over Militaristic Japan Day”! (9.5.2024)

There were two Victory Days in the Soviet Union: May 9th – Victory Day Over Nazi Germany and September 3rd – Victory Day Over Imperial Japan. And there were two victory medals – on one the profile of Joseph Stalin was facing West, on the other – to the East.

Contrary to the claims of Japanese (US-inspired) propaganda, the USSR in 1945 merely “attacked Japan” – but the reality is that the Red Army liberated the territories of China and Korea Occupied by the Japanese Army, as well as taking South Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands that had previously belonged to the Russian Empire. A Soviet, like a Russian, soldier never set foot on the territory of Japan proper. Therefore, the war of the Soviet Union on the side of the Allied Powers against Militaristic Japan, which unleashed the bloody Second World War together with Nazi Germany – was certainly fair.

DPRK: US Supplies “Long-Range Missiles” to Defeated Neo-Nazi Ukraine! (30.4.2024)

The U.S. has stepped up its military aids to Ukraine since the outbreak of the Ukrainian war, as evidenced by its transfer of depleted uranium bombs, cluster bombs and MBTs to the Zelenskiy regime. This time it has adopted such a mean policy as offering even long-range missiles for attacking the Russian territory to their lackeys in a bid to turn the tide of the war recently running against them more seriously than ever.

Long-range missiles offered by the U.S. will never tip the scale in favour of Ukraine on the battlefield but result in fanning the reckless confrontational hysteria of the Zelenskiy puppet clique.

The current U.S. administration boasts that its supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine will make the U.S. safer but it is a matter of time for the world to see the U.S. getting more vulnerable and Washington’s defeat on the Ukrainian battlefield.

The U.S. can never defeat the heroic Russian army and people with any latest weaponry or military support. (End)

Union members in the city of Sariwon have instilled “Strength” and “Courage” into the working people through dynamic and unique “agitation-propaganda” carried out during the morning rush hour!

Union officials and members in other areas of the province gave agitation performances at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and farms

Built on the sea of blood of Indians, the U.S. staged over 114 big and small wars of aggression and more than 8 900 military interference actions for over 130 years until World War I, and expanded its territory by over ten times by annexing and subordinating other countries and nations.

After World War II, the U.S. has grown corpulent through many wars and military interference actions in the DPRK, Vietnam, Iraq, Syria and other parts of the world and maintained its privileged position.

Even in the present century when the unipolar world has been collapsing and a new, multi-polarized international order is being established, the U.S. is persistently pursuing its hegemonic and aggressive mode of existence and foreign policy, being obsessed with “overconfidence in its own strength”, and is constantly breaking the security and stability of the world.

Soviet Red Army Disarms Defeated Japanese in Manchuria!

DPRK: Japan is a Convicted “War Criminal” Nation Treading a Very Dangerous US-Backed Path! (3.2.2024)

Japan, which is banned from possessing combat capabilities as a war criminal nation bereft of its right to belligerency and participation in war, and the U.S. that unhesitatingly freed that vassal nation from the said shackles in a bid to carry out its hegemonic strategy, have neither qualification nor justification to find fault with the just and legitimate measures of our state for bolstering self-defensive capabilities.

Japan even discarded its spurious veil of “pacific nation” and is getting hell-bent on securing long-range missiles targeting the neighbouring countries, buoyed up by the U.S. zealous patronage and support. It has now emerged as the worst threat-posing country in the region.

Japan should be mindful that it will become a common target of the righteous regional community for its dogged efforts for realizing the old dream of “Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere” while zealously following the U.S. gripped by anachronistic ambition for hegemony and expansionist fantasy.
