That is, excluding the population growth rate between the Liu Mingchuan Period to 1895 (some 11 years), Taiwan’s population plummeted by 600,000 to 700,000 in less than a year – due to Japan’s policy of killing and expelling Taiwanese people! Between 1895-1897 the Imperial Japanese permitted ethnic Chinese people to leave Taiwan – but official figures record that only 4,456 Taiwanese people took this route of relocating to Mainland China. This process involved an official procedure of application – which was granted (or denied) by the Imperial Japanese Authorities on a case-by-case bases. Therefore, no matter how the numbers are calculated, from September 1895 to the end of 1896 (just over 1 year), the number of “unnatural” (or “massacred”) deaths of Taiwanese people suffered at the hands of the Imperial Japanese reached at least 500,000 – which is a credible figure.

The PFLP concluded its statement by stressing that the struggle is long, which requires the prosecution of the leaders of the Occupation – and its partners in America, Britain (and other places) for their heinous crimes! This invitation submitted by South Africa constitutes a step on the path to achieving this goal – although the main battle today is still confronting the Palestinian people. The Zionists are still perpetuating genocide, massacres, injustice, and brutality against the Palestinian people who require the immediate support of all Arab nations, and the free people of the world. This will counter the complicity (and inaction) of the international system, and its blatant bias towards the Zionist Occupation.

Earlier today, two people were killed and others were wounded when Israeli fighter jets struck a house in the Al-Geneina neighbourhood, east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, at least 28 civilians also were killed and others were injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli shelling of the city of Khan Younis.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of the aggression on October 7 has claimed the lives of approximately 26, 000, with nearly 63,740 others injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, thousands of people are reported missing.

This is unlike the US – the military of which has murdered between 20-30 million people around the world between 1945 to present – enforcing its preferred economic system. If the body-count of the collective West is taken into account (including Zionist Israel) – the true barbarity of the capitalist system that has enriched the likes of the bumbling Ridley Scott becomes clear. No wonder he persists with the idea of conflating ‘science’ with ‘religion’ whilst condemning the working-class to eternal poverty and suffering! He attacks the greatest working-class heroes whilst persuading the peasants and workers to hand-over their hard-earned money! Even though he is British – he is certainly a class enemy of top-notch proportions. He stands on the bones of 41 million Soviet men, women and children – whilst he eats well and enjoys the freedom this mound of death has earned him! Perhaps this is the film the workers should make!
