The “Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Justification for Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programmess” said Washington’s foreign aid is a key tool in strategic competition, with the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development using the “Countering Chinese Influence Fund” and the “Countering Russian Influence Fund” to support various plans, the report said.
“The continued U.S. arms sales to China’s Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-U.S. joint communiqués, interfere in China’s internal affairs, and undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” according to a Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China No.5.
“Pursuant to Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 15 of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Countering Foreign Sanctions, China hereby decides to take the following countermeasures against U.S. companies that participate in arms sales to China’s Taiwan region, including General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems，” it said.
According to the countermeasures, all the companies’ movable and immovable properties, and other kinds of assets within China shall be frozen. And their senior management shall be denied visas or entry into China.
The evermore pronounced anti-DPRK “human rights” racket by the hostile forces brings into bolder relief the uneasiness and defeat mentality and moral inferiority of the U.S., driven into a tight corner in the political and military confrontation with the DPRK, and only redoubles our people’s will to fight against the U.S. and the enemies.
Taking this opportunity, I again express strong concern about the fact that the UN human rights bodies to contribute to protecting and promoting the global human rights through ensuring respect and cooperation among states on the basis of the principle of the UN Charter have been abused as a tool of the U.S. and the Western camp for realizing their sinister political purposes.

In contrast, the U.S. consistently abuses extraterritorial and long-arm jurisdiction to interfere in other countries’ internal affairs.
“Who is the ‘world police,’ and whose law enforcement personnel engage in various forms of interference and repression worldwide? The world can clearly see that the label of ‘transnational repression’ is most appropriate for the U.S. itself,” the statement said.
The ministry urged U.S. law enforcement to immediately stop these accusations and judicial prosecutions against Chinese officials and to recognize the serious harm caused by this frivolous litigation.
The ministry demands that the U.S. immediately take measures to eliminate the negative impact of its actions and cease any other provocative and confrontational behavior, returning to normal law enforcement cooperation as soon as possible.
If the U.S. continues going down the wrong path, China will undoubtedly take firm and resolute countermeasures, the ministry said.
As for its surface structure – I think that with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ we are seeing the essence of how the Monty Python team presented their ideas to the world! The problem was the difficulty of psychologically conveying this ‘freedom’ whilst still being physically ‘stuck’ in exactly the material conditions assumed to have been thrown-off due to some type of superior insight! This is the ‘idealism’ of The Beatles! It was their millions of pounds which gave them an enhanced sense of ‘choice’ whilst living within a capitalist society. Immense wealth and success constituted the foundry within which the superstructure of the ‘Yellow Submarine’ was hammered out – whilst the imbibing of LSD was the bottle of Champaign (or non-descript ‘infrastructure’) that was smashed against its side – and which launched it into the stream of human consciousness! Do with it as you will.
