They pointed out that the governorates of Gaza and the northern Gaza Strip were unable to provide health services completely in light of the Israeli targeting of the health system during the ongoing aggression since last October 7th, 2023.
He continued: “It is disturbing news that an evacuation order for Al-Quds Hospital has been received from Israel. On Friday, Israel issued a warning to “evacuate” Al-Quds Hospital, South of Gaza City, and empty it of patients and displaced people “in preparation for its bombing.”
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that it “received a threat from the Occupation Authorities to bomb Al-Quds Hospital.”
The Red Crescent spokesperson added that the Israeli Occupation Army demanded “the immediate evacuation of the hospital, which houses more than 400 patients and about 12,000 displaced civilians who took refuge in it as a safe place.”
