In the heart scan study, researchers found that the AI model wasn’t actually focusing on the heart itself, where there were few visible differences linked to racial categories. Instead, it drew information from areas outside the heart, such as subcutaneous fat as well as image artefacts – unwanted distortions like motion blur, noise, or compression that can degrade image quality. These artefacts often come from the scanner and can influence how the AI interprets the scan.

Now, my US relatives (yes – they exist) – used to come to the UK to receive “free” healthcare until one of the UK governments put an end to that perk (my father’s sister married a US soldier stationed in the UK – and went to live in Seattle). Now, when a health issue hits, they have to sell a plot of land to raise the funds to pay for operations and treatments. However, just as in the UK – with a restricted NHS – we have to endure various health issues just because there is no money. We literally “save-up” our illnesses until we can no longer take the pain – or the malady becomes life-threatening. Even then, for many there is no avenue of treatment available. As usual, the workers carry-out all the labour, produce all the profit, and receive very little of the earned benefits. We die of starvation surround by an ocean of food, we freeze surrounded by endless houses, and we die of medical neglect surrounded by first-world hospitals stacked with the most advanced drugs and trained experts. Trained experts that receive huge salaries from the very workers they refuse to treat – due to (fascistic) governmental dogma!
According to the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 2,000 measles cases have been reported nationwide this year, with 93 percent occurring among unvaccinated people. This marks the highest number since the highly contagious disease was first considered eliminated in the United States 25 years ago.
Public health experts expect more measles cases well into January, urging the public to get vaccinated.
They have also warned that the United States could lose its elimination status as Canada did last month, if the disease continues to spread for three more weeks.
Jennifer Melle, 40, a nurse at St Helier Hospital in Carshalton, Surrey, was helping to treat an inmate from a high-security men’s prison when the patient complained she had misgendered them.
She said the patient racially abused her, calling her the n-word several times, while they were restrained in their hospital bed – after she refused to call them by their preferred pronouns, which she said goes against her Christian beliefs.
She was investigated and discipled by the hospital in October 2024 and suspended on full pay.
A referral was sent to the Nursing and Midwifery Council to assess her ability to practise in accordance with its code of conduct – which forbids nurses from expressing personal beliefs.
Ms Melle has since filed a legal claim against the Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals Trust for harassment, discrimination and human rights breaches.
She also criticised the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) after it failed to intervene in her case.
The Okinawan King had instigated Chinese language as the official means of communication, Chinese Confucianism as State-creed, Chinese Buddhism as a spiritual practice, and Chinese Daoism as a health system. Following a horrific experience during WWII – Japan today views the Okinawans as being both “sub-human” and “non-Japanese” – this is why US Military Bases are stationed on Okinawa (US soldiers often rape Okinawan school girls – and it is treated as a joke in Japan and the US). Okinawa should return to China.
