Investigators said a man had arrived with Zhuang at the condo the night before on Feb. 3., and there is video of the same man exiting the condo through the second-story bedroom window on the afternoon of the day she was discovered.

During a Thursday news conference, investigators released a photo of the man they hope to identify and locate. Modica said he couldn’t confirm if the suspect is a CalArts student or not. Homicide investigators believe that people in the area may have seen this person of interest.

“It is clear this is not a random act of violence, and Menghan somehow knew the person of interest, evidenced by bringing that person into her apartment,” Modica said.

Shimizu Hideo offers apology in front of an apology and anti-war monument at the former site of Unit 731 in Harbin, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, Aug. 13, 2024. Shimizu, a former member of Unit 731, the notorious Japanese germ-warfare detachment during World War II, identified the crimes of the Japanese army on Tuesday at the site where he served 79 years ago in China. Shimizu, 94, was among the last batch of Unit 731 Youth Corps members sent by Japan to Harbin, China, where he spent more than four months witnessing the war crimes committed by the unit, including the cultivation of pathogens, human dissections and human experiments. He fled China with the retreating Japanese forces on August 14, 1945. This visit is Shimizu’s first return to Chinese soil in 79 years.

In July 2018, the Malaysian government released a more than 800-page report, noting that the evidence led to an “incontrovertible conclusion” that it was under manual control, and it was deliberately flown out into the Indian Ocean. Until the wreckage is found, it will remain unknown as to who was at the controls of the Boeing 777 during that time. Loke, who was also transport minister at the time, described it as the final and full report.

On condition

Nearly four years after the release of the report, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said during a March 4 state visit to Australia that he would be “happy to reopen” the search for the missing MH370 “if there is compelling evidence”.

This deliberate deception included ‘Christina Blazek’ – a San Bernadino County Public Defender (Lawyer) – who was kayaking alongside Nancy Ng at the time she went missing – but who emphasises that she was NOT with Nancy Ng at the time!
