I have a particular fondness for these people as they rather comical approached me in early 1999 – when I was stood outside a shop in Kowloon that was so “small” I could not fit in it. Two armed Police Constables – in perfect English – asked me what I was doing in a “Chinese” area. It was a good question and I have to admit I was stumped to furnish a convincing answer on the spot – until a Chinese relative appeared and explained in Cantonese that my “ugly” Western appearance “was too big” for the “properly designed and shaped Chinese shops” (I am 6′ 2″ and weigh around 20 stone – so you can see their point). My relative also told me-off for not “bowing my head” out of respect and keeping my eyes looking humbly at the ground – where they belong. One Constable then answered in Cantonese – saying to my relative that “Hong Kong is no longer a British colony and the English should not be allowed to walk around like they own it.” We were let-off with a “Warning” – which I very much appreciated at the time as it was my first offense – and I believe I taught gongfu to one of the sons of the Constables! It was a little bit nerve-whacking, as the Constables authoritatively “fingered” their truncheons during the entire encounter.

Meanwhile, my partner – who works in the NHS – had to go to work with NO PPE (face-masks, aprons, and screens). Our friends in China were so shocked that Gee’s life was being risked – that they paid for a supply of masks to be sent from China to our home. These masks saved Gee’s life when people were dying around her (she later won a Medal for Bravery for volunteering to work on the front-line with No protective clothing). The Tories said we had to “buy” our own protective clothing – but there was none left to purchase. The Tories had listened to far-right thugs like the individual featured in this article – who said (as they still do today) – that there was never a pandemic and that it is all a lie. This man above is the tip of the iceberg. There are many more fools like this in the Western world and are still a danger to our collective health.

The Zoological Society of London said it financial situation had got "sharply worse" in recent months

A spokesperson for ZSL told the BBC that the past year had been particularly challenging for UK tourism and the global conservation sector.

They added that the organisation had also been affected by the increase in employer National Insurance contributions earlier this year.

The spokesperson said: “ZSL, whose income is partially generated by visitors to its zoos, has seen the impact of decreased consumer confidence on visitor behaviour, with guests spending less this summer.”

They pointed to the Great Britain Tourism Survey, which found domestic tourism was down by 8% in spring 2025 compared with the previous year. The decline was attributed to “increased cost-of-living and weaker consumer confidence” in the UK economy.

London Zoo – which celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2026 – also felt the impact of the Covid pandemic.

What Labour is not telling you about the Moorfields experiment is that it occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic when face-to-face appointments were replaced with telephone calls. As a lockdown was in place – Moorfields had no other option. As soon as Lockdown was lifted – Moorfields reverted to the traditional model of safe face-to-face appointments in an ever shrinking NHS. Labour is closing down the NHS – and is packaging each stage of this shutting down – as being “an improvement”. Psychic doctoring used to be illegal.

Has Covid-19 Altered the physiology of the Brain?

Even so, the spread of the popularity of the far-right cannot be merely because of its incoherent ideology. The popularity of this ridiculous mode of intellectual dysfunctionality cannot be because it possesses any inherent credibility. It seems that rather this upsurge in popularity derives from an alteration in the perception of the general public. It could be that Covid-19 – and/or the vaccination – might include the propensity to alter how the thought processes operate. This is probably part of the so-called “Long Covid” symptoms that millions are reporting. The NHS has no answer to this other than “put up with it” – or “take various types of pain-killers”. The deficient imagination of the far-right would have you believe that vaccinations “cause” the illnesses they are designed to prevent. This indicates the inverted thinking of the far-right – and it is difficult to see what relevance such stupidity would possess for real-world action. Covid-19 is deadly and the vaccination has saved millions from immediate death. What we are living with now is the side-effects of the illness – and perhaps the new type of vaccine that has been deployed (I understand it alters DNA).

As the US is dominated by anti-intellectualism – the left has been completely deconstructed and re-invented into an alien concept premised upon the “devil” as found within Christian theology. Freedom of speech under Trump I and II is nothing less than the far-right saying anything it wants – and doing anything to anyone it prefers. Centrists bourgeois ideology is now viewed as “Communist” – with leftist and far-left rhetoric declared “Bolshevik” and “Marxist”. As the average US citizen knows NOTHING about Marxism, what the American far-right is discussing is nothing but its own deficient (and hate-filled) imagination. In many ways, the far-right hates itself and what it represents – in other words its own ugly reflection – and calls this hideous reality “Communism”. Of course, what the far-right represents has nothing to do with “Communism”. For Trump I and II – freedom of speech – is anything the far-right wants to say, with Communist oppression being any resistance to this fascism!
