Wales: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Finds NHS Nurse Participated in “Sexual Activity” with Staff & Patients at Psychiatric Unit! (18.4.2026)

A mental health nurse has been struck off after having sex on three occasions at the hospital where she worked. Kate Sullivan was found by a misconduct panel to have repeatedly engaged in unprofessional behaviour while working at Bridgend’s Glanrhyd Hospital.

Sullivan was based at the hospital’s Rowan ward – an all-male secure rehab unit with a high number of admissions from prison. She had been acting up as a band seven ward manager, her fitness to practise hearing was told.

From October 2020 to summer 2021 she was in a relationship with a colleague which she did not declare to her employer, Swansea Bay University Health Board, which was a breach of workplace policy. Stay in the know by making sure you’re receiving our daily newsletter

She would later admit: “I engaged in a casual relationship with a fellow colleague and he was working as a band two on the ward at that time.”

The panel found Sullivan had sex with this man – referred to only as Colleague A – in their workplace on March 4, 2021, and on January 8 and 17 of the following year.

US: Americans Know Where a Privatised NHS is Leading! (2.1.2026)

The Americans have only got themselves to blame (I exclude my US comrades who are ill and injured – if it were up to me – you would receive free healthcare NOW) – but we in the UK possess a working-class which fought a brutal World War to put an end to health poverty. Now, my US relatives (yes – they exist) – used to come to the UK to receive “free” healthcare until one of the UK governments put an end to that perk (my father’s sister married a US soldier stationed in the UK – and went to live in Seattle). Now, when a health issue hits, they have to sell a plot of land to raise the funds to pay for operations and treatments. However, just as in the UK – with a restricted NHS – we have to endure various health issues just because there is no money. We literally “save-up” our illnesses until we can no longer take the pain – or the malady becomes life-threatening. Even then, for many there is no avenue of treatment available. As usual, the workers carry-out all the labour, produce all the profit, and receive very little of the earned benefits. We die of starvation surround by an ocean of food, we freeze surrounded by endless houses, and we die of medical neglect surrounded by first-world hospitals stacked with the most advanced drugs and trained experts. Trained experts that receive huge salaries from the very workers they refuse to treat – due to (fascistic) governmental dogma!

China: Latest Assassination Highlights Era of Political Violence in US! (14.9.2025)

The New York Times reported that political violence has become part of the fabric of American society. Just like school shootings, which once shocked the nation’s conscience, such incidents have now become commonplace.

“I take no pleasure in any hatred or any killing; every human being has the sacred right to life,” Greg Cusack, a former member of the Iowa House of Representatives, told Xinhua. “But this insanity will not stop until all the purveyors of hatred and division forever shut their foul mouths.”

“We have had periods like this in the past,” said professor Galdieri, referring to U.S. politics in the 1850s, when members of Congress assaulted each other in the Capitol.

“But things right now are exceptionally grim on this front,” Galdieri said. “I don’t see how things get better any time soon.”

Trump to "Pardon" Fascist Rioters!

US: Congress Certifies Trump’s Election Victory Four-Years After Capitol Riot! (7.1.2025)

After losing his bid for re-election in 2020, Trump claimed there had been widespread election fraud. On Jan. 6, 2021, a large group of his supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to prevent Congress from certifying the election results. The riot resulted in five deaths and hundreds of police officers being injured. The latest data shows that over 1,500 individuals have been charged with federal criminal offenses related to the unrest.

Many Americans have expressed their concerns about post-election violence. According to a POLITICO-Morning Consult poll, six in ten voters said they were either very or somewhat concerned that “another event like what happened on Jan. 6 will happen again following the 2024 presidential election.”

President-elect Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the nation’s 47th president on Jan. 20, officially beginning his second, nonconsecutive term.

Hunter's Criminality Forgiven By Father!

US: Confused Out-Going Biden “Pardon’s” Criminal Son! (2.12.2024)

Hunter Biden was convicted in June for purchasing a firearm in 2018 while addicted to crack cocaine, marking the first time a sitting president’s child has been convicted of a crime. He is set to be sentenced on Dec. 12.

He is also scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 16 for federal tax evasion charges, to which he pleaded guilty in September, involving over 1.4 million U.S. dollars in unpaid taxes

Special counsel David Weiss, who served as the attorney for Delaware under former U.S. President Donald Trump, launched an investigation into Hunter Biden in 2018 and brought both indictments in 2023.

Anti-China Racism - A US Speciality!

US: “Anti-China Week” Exposes US Weakness in Addressing its Own Issues! (17.9.2024)

In this era of globalization, China and the United States are deeply intertwined, particularly in economic and trade sectors, but badmouthing China won’t help to solve U.S. problems. On the contrary, decoupling will cripple industries, drive up prices for American consumers, and weaken the United States’ competitive edge in innovation. Semiconductor shortages, disrupted supply chains, and inflationary pressures are just a glimpse of what decoupling would bring. Moreover, isolating the U.S. market from China’s electric vehicles won’t help with the green transition in America.

Washington’s China policy, guided by a self-contradicting doctrine and an outdated superpower ego, is running fast in the wrong direction. It reflects a profound misunderstanding of the interconnected nature of the most important bilateral ties in the world, and could ultimately miss a golden opportunity for cooperation that benefits both nations and the globe at large.
