China's Youth Surges Forward!

China: Young Communist League – 74.8 Million Members! (3.5.2024)

The CYLC had nearly 4.32 million organizations across China by the end of 2023, according to statistics released by the CYLC Central Committee.

There were roughly 1.91 million CYLC organizations at schools, colleges and universities last year, with around 38.25 million members, the data showed.

The remaining CYLC organizations were linked to enterprises, public institutions, urban and rural communities, social organizations and other fields.

The Congress calls on Party organizations at all levels and all Party members to follow the firm leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party. Xi Jinping ‘Elected’ General Secretary of CPC Central Committee: Communique (23.10.2022)

BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) — Xi Jinping was elected general secretary of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the committee’s first plenary session held on Sunday, according to a communique.

The session, presided over by Xi, was attended by 203 members of the 20th CPC Central Committee and 168 alternate members.

Xi was also named chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission at the session.

The members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee elected at the session are Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang and Li Xi.

Also elected were members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee at the session, which endorsed the members of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat nominated by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
