ICC: Eire Joins South Africa’s “Genocide” Case Against Israel! (8.1.2025)

Following today’s Cabinet meeting, the Tánaiste said:

“There has been a collective punishment of the Palestinian people through the intent and impact of military actions of Israel in Gaza, leaving 44,000 dead and millions of civilians displaced.

“By legally intervening in South Africa’s case, Ireland will be asking the ICJ to broaden its interpretation of what constitutes the commission of genocide by a State.

“We are concerned that a very narrow interpretation of what constitutes genocide leads to a culture of impunity in which the protection of civilians is minimised.

“Ireland’s view of the Convention is broader and prioritises the protection of civilian life – as a committed supporter of the Convention, the government will promote that interpretation in its intervention in this case.

“Intervening in both cases demonstrates the consistency of Ireland’s approach to the interpretation and application of the Genocide Convention.”

As many Arabs feel uneasy about the US policy of converted every nation to a pro-Israel State – the Yemeni people once again asserted their sovereignty and took control of their own country in 2014! Of course, the UK and other satellite countries of the US refuse to recognise the new Yemeni State – and have had the RAF (which saved the UK from Nazi German invasion during WWII) bomb the Yemeni people! I consider this a UK War Crime at exactly the same time that the UK government is arming Israel and Neo-Nazi Ukraine, not to mention granting Asylum to millions of far-right Ukrainians simply on the grounds they hold anti-Russian viewpoints! What a magnificent site it is to see the Yemeni people marching in defiance of UK and US fascism – whilst protecting their own waters from hostile Zionist shipping!

Excellent Missile Strikes Zionist Ships!

Yemen: Resistance to Zionist Fascism Continues! (27.6.2024)

The group said this marked the first public revelation of the missile, used to target the Israeli-related cargo ship MSC Sarach V. The Houthis claimed responsibility for attacking the vessel on Tuesday.

The Red Sea and Gulf of Aden Joint Maritime Information Center reported on Monday that the Liberian-flagged MSC Sarah V was targeted by a missile in the Arabian Sea but not struck. No casualty or ship damage was reported.

The Houthis have escalated attacks on shipping lanes in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November, using drones and missiles. They justify these actions as acts of solidarity with Palestinians in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Diplomacy Assists Palestine!

Palestine and Barbados Sign Joint Declaration Establishing Diplomatic Relations! (12.6.2024)

The two parties decided that diplomatic relations between the two countries would be based on international law, particularly respecting and enhancing global peace and security and the principles of equality among states, as well as respecting national sovereignty, regional safety, independence and international treaties.

The two sides also signed a memorandum addressing the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, to officially inform him of the signing of this joint declaration, requesting its distribution to other diplomatic missions.

A high-level delegation from Barbados attended the signing of the joint declaration, represented by Member of Parliament, Edmund Hinksona, and diplomats at the Permanent Barbados Mission.
