The Chinese Authorities have been made aware of the weakness in the regulation of CCTV operating in China – and the dangers this holds for Chinese individuals Inside and outside of China (as well as the security of the Chinese nation) – and has carried-out reforms regulating the usage of CCTV cameras – as well as the images and footage such devices collect.

Human performance must exist on a scale that allows an “average” ability in real life that ensures the survival of the human race. Migratory humans used to “walk” thousands of miles whilst following the good weather and the shifting herds. All humans, men, women and children, as well as the young, old, and ill, would participate in these massive migrations – with the lower speed ensuring the greater survival rate over-all. Yes – those who could run fast over long or short distances had their place – but such abilities were considered peripheral to the needs of tribal survival.

The report documents how Israel’s extensive bombing campaign in Gaza has decimated essential services and unleashed an environmental catastrophe that will have lasting health impacts. By early 2024, over 25,000 tons of explosives—equivalent to two nuclear bombs—had been dropped on Gaza, causing massive destruction and the collapse of water and sanitation systems, agricultural devastation, and toxic pollution.

“By destroying vital water, sanitation and food systems, and contaminating the environment, Israel has created a lethal mix of crises that will inflict severe harm on generations to come,” the Committee said.

The report raises serious concerns about Israel’s use of AI-enhanced targeting systems in directing its military operations, and the impact it has had on civilians, particularly evident in the overwhelming number of women and children among the casualties.

The restrictions cover areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence and quantum computing, with the vast majority of related industries not impacting national security concerns, however will still be subjected to the U.S. bans, the spokesperson said.

Many U.S. business associations and companies have warned that the investment restrictions will cause U.S. firms to cede the Chinese market to other international competitors, seriously harming U.S. interests, the spokesperson said.

China hopes the U.S. will respect the laws of the market economy, and stop politicizing and weaponizing economic and trade issues, in order to create a favourable environment for China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation, the spokesperson added.

Dr Who - Popular in China!

UK: Far-Right Votes for the Ideal “Dr Who”! (16.6.2024)

I do not particularly like the current incarnation of Dr Who – but this is because of the style of the writing – which seeks to make the non-human Doctor far more “human”. Why? The Doctor is NOT human – he is a Time Lord from the Planet Gallifrey. Theoretically, the Doctor could manifest as any being (I have often thought of a Chinese man or woman surnamed “Hu” [虎] – or “Tiger”) and does not have to appear in a body most humans find comfortable or familiar. Furthermore, some of the episodes have been very good – whilst others have not been so – in my opinion. I think every season of any programme is like this – as not everyone can be pleased all the time. I detest fascism, racism, bigotry, discrimination and prejudice in any form. YouTube, which pumps US anti-intellectualism into the brains of our British children – is a cesspit for fascist reaction – which follows a deliberate policy of punishing any Black or Asian opposition to the “White” dominant (and “straight”) viewpoints the platform encourages and allows (primarily through advertising). People with Disabilities do not stand a chance in such a hellish environment.
