Weighing just around 300 grams — about the same as an apple — the robot can roll on the ground and take flight to pass over obstacles. It was created by a research team at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). The team has developed multiple versions of the aerial/terrestrial robot, achieving an endurance time six times longer than similar-sized unmanned aerial vehicles. These robots can be used to perform tasks such as monitoring, probing, and maintenance. They come in various forms, such as two-wheeled or spherical designs. They can be adapted to different terrains, and they can also be equipped with manipulators to perform screwing or pressing actions.

Yes – those who could run fast over long or short distances had their place – but such abilities were considered peripheral to the needs of tribal survival.

The report documents how Israel’s extensive bombing campaign in Gaza has decimated essential services and unleashed an environmental catastrophe that will have lasting health impacts. Many U.S. business associations and companies have warned that the investment restrictions will cause U.S. firms to cede the Chinese market to other international competitors, seriously harming U.S. interests, the spokesperson said.

China hopes the U.S. will respect the laws of the market economy, and stop politicizing and weaponizing economic and trade issues, in order to create a favourable environment for China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation, the spokesperson added.
