China: Anti-Japanese War of Resistance Commemorated! (8.7.2023)

Students attend a ceremony to mark the 86th anniversary of the beginning of China’s whole-nation resistance war against Japanese aggression in Beijing, capital of China, July 7, 2023.

China on Friday commemorated the 86th anniversary of the beginning of China’s whole-nation resistance war against Japanese aggression.

On July 7, 1937, Japanese soldiers attacked Chinese forces at the Lugou Bridge in Beijing. The incident is recognized as the start of Japan’s full-scale invasion of China and China’s whole-nation resistance against the Japanese invaders.

A commemorative ceremony was held on Friday morning at the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, which is located near the Lugou Bridge. (Xinhua/Yue Yuewei)

Buddhism: London Peace Pagoda! (27.5.2023)

The history of this (Japanese) Buddhist artifact can be read above. As Chinese Buddhists – we support the concept of World Peace – and sympathise with the Japanese victims of the US Atomic Bombs. However, between 1931-1945 – the Imperial Japanese Army murdered over 9 million Chinese men, women and children – with countless more victims throughout Asia (including many Westerners)! To date, although individual Japanese Buddhists and Japanese Buddhist groups have called for World Peace – the successive post-1945 governments of Japan are puppets of the United States! This an unfortunate situation which has turned Japan in to a colony of American fascism and anti-intellectualism! Whilst calling for World Peace – the governments of a defeated Japan refuse to take responsibility for its War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity committed in China (and throughout Asia)!

Japan Needs Correct Understanding of China: Chinese Ambassador! (30.4.2023)

Regarding the discharge plan of Fukushima nuclear wastewater into the sea, Wu said that the disposal of nuclear-contaminated water has a direct bearing on the global marine environment and human health and safety, and no one can make a conclusion as to how long the impact will last and how much harm it will bring.

China’s position on the issue is clear, that is, it firmly opposes Japan’s discharge plan of nuclear-contaminated water, he said, noting that the Japanese side should take the strong opposition at home and abroad seriously, honestly fulfill its international obligations and deal with the nuclear-contaminated water in the safest and most prudent way.

When asked about the Group of Seven (G7)’s recent accusations against China, Wu said the G7 has become a political tool of some countries to wantonly interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and suppress the development and progress of other countries.

The G7 does not represent the international community and their consensus is not a global consensus, the ambassador stressed.

Joseph McCabe: The Anatomy of an Anti-Soviet ‘Lie’! (18.3.2023)

The point being here, that for all his evilness – Adolf Hitler (who really did ‘kill’ verified millions) – is far more acceptable to the Bourgeoisie once his ‘National Socialist’ regime has been militarily defeated (ironically by the ‘Socialists’), and its threat to the dominance of the world ‘capitalism’ firmly removed! In Russia and China no one believes that their greatest leaders killed millions of people – as there are no bodies, no graves and no grieving masses. The Bourgeoisie, realising the practical weakness in their argument, decided that in Cambodia (Kampuchea) a new approach was needed – and the remains of the tens of thousands of innocent Cambodians killed in the illegal blanket-bombing (and military invasions) of that that country carried-out by the US during the Vietnam War – were simply ‘piled-up’ for tourists to gawk at – and see just how ‘evil’ Socialism can be!

Nanjing Massacre: Another Survivor Passes Away – Only 54 Still Alive! (7.12.2022)

The Nanjing Massacre took place when Japanese troops captured the then-Chinese capital on Dec. 13, 1937. Over six weeks, they killed approximately 300,000 Chinese civilians and unarmed soldiers in one of the most barbaric episodes of World War II.

Xiang’s brother and uncle were killed by Japanese invaders. On the way to retrieve the bodies of his family, Xiang saw corpses piled up on the river beach, and men, women, and children lying in blood. He survived as he had escaped to a refugee area.

In 2014, China’s top legislature designated Dec. 13 as the national memorial day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre.

The Chinese government has preserved the survivors’ testimonies, recorded in written documents and video footage. These records of the massacre were listed by UNESCO in the Memory of the World Register in 2015.

China Commemorates 91st Anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression! (18.9.2022)

China resounds with the hashtag – 牢记九一八#!(#Keep in mind 918#!) – to remember the millions of Chinese people (and Allies) that were killed or maimed in China’s War Against International Fascism (which lasted between 1931-1945 and included the Second Sino-Japanese War of 1937-1945)! Imperial Japan was copying the Western model of imperialist and colonial aggression – and had invaded and occupied Northeast China in 1894-1895 (First Sino-Japanese War) and this aggressive behaviour eventually led to the Russo-Japanese War (1904–1905) – a conflict between an encroaching Czarist Russia an an ever-increasingly confident (modernising) Japan! Japan ended the conflict with controlling parts of Shenyang (formerly controlled by Czarist Russia) – but decided to launch a ‘War of Aggression’ from this platform on September 18th, 1931! Ironically, it would be the Soviet Red Army that would come to the aid of the Chinese people in 1945 and ‘crush’ the occupying Japanese Forces whilst completely ‘Liberating’ Northeast China – handing the captured territory (and material resources) to the control of the Communist Party of China!
