This military attack by the U.S. is a wanton violation of all international laws including the UN Charter and it is an open encroachment upon the sovereignty of other nation that can never be justified.

I express serious concern over and strongly condemn and reject the illegal military moves of the U.S. which is resorting to its exclusive and unilateral geopolitical ambition while gravely violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries through the violence of injustice in disregard of international law.

The department’s fourth misleading statement came as it claimed – again in a footnote – that 70 per cent of the increase in the number of disabled people receiving the health element of universal credit and ESA in the past five years “was not expected by the Department”.

But it failed to mention the impact of the pandemic, with research by the respected Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) – published the previous day – finding that “mental health has worsened since the pandemic”, which was “consistent with rising disability benefit claims for mental health”.

The IFS report found that “deaths of despair” – those attributed to alcohol, drugs and suicide – rose by 24 per cent in England and Wales in 2023, compared with the 2015-19 pre-pandemic average.

Liu relied on his work experience in confidential units and “carefully” designed a whole set of procedures for selling intelligence and evading investigation. He targeted a foreign spy intelligence agency and took the initiative to surrender the data he held (he was not a victim of foreign action). After reaching a preliminary intention with it, he began to implement an overseas sales plan. In order to make the first pot of gold as soon as possible, he split and packaged the confidential electronic data, established a data directory, and opened multiple platform accounts to collect the stolen money; after that, he bought non-real-name IC cards and several SIM cards, constantly changed the communication channels, and even used multiple aliases to cover up his identity.

Interestingly, Ottawa confirmed that Canadian citizen Robert Schellenberg was sentenced to death in China in 2019 for drug smuggling – but has not yet been executed. China-Canada relations became strained in 2018 (during the first Trump Administration), when Meng Wanzhou, Chief Financial Officer of Chinese Huawei was illegally detained in Vancouver at the request of the US government. China then arrested two Canadian citizens. Meng Wanshou and the two Canadians were both released in 2021. Meanwhile, Canada has built monuments to Ukraine’s SS Units that murdered millions in the USSR during WWII – and has continuously opposed a UN Resolution “condemning” the glorification of Neo-Nazism. Furthermore, Canada has fully supported the Neo-Nazi regime of Ukraine – and the ongoing Israeli-inflicted “Genocide” in Gaza! When it comes to supporting death and destruction on a global-scale, Canada has much to answer for – and given the extent of routine anti-China racism in Canada – these protests from Ottawa should be taken with a pinch of salt, whilst the Canadians contemplate the prospect of losing their sovereignty and becoming the 51st State of the US.

At the peak, over 10,000 protesters were on site. The group included more than 200 Native American tribes, hundreds of US military veterans, actors and political leaders – including current US Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr.

The 1,172-mile pipeline has been operating since 2017. However, it still lacks a key permit to operate under Lake Oahe in South Dakota, and local tribes have pushed for an extensive environmental review of the project.

During the three-week trial, jurors heard from Energy Transfer’s co-founder and board chairman Kelcy Warren, who said in a video deposition that protesters had created “a total false narrative” about his company.

Gaza: Israeli-Inflicted Death-Toll of UN Personnel Rises to 280! (20.3.2025)

UNITED NATIONS, March 19 (Xinhua) — UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is “deeply saddened and shocked” by the death of a UN staff member during the Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip, condemning all attacks on UN personnel and calling for a full investigation, his spokesman said on Wednesday.

A United Nations Office for Project Services personnel was killed and five others seriously injured after two UN guesthouses in Deir al Balah, central Gaza, were hit in the strikes, the UN and Gaza-based health authorities confirmed Wednesday morning. The Israeli military denied attacking the compound.

The locations of all UN premises are known to the parties to the conflict, who are bound by international law to protect them and maintain their absolute inviolability, Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN secretary-general, said.
