U.S. media recently reported that the CIA formed a clandestine team of operatives who used fabricated online personas to disseminate disparaging narratives about the Chinese government and smear China’s Belt and Road Initiative during the Trump administration.

As noted by renowned U.S. economist Jeffrey Sachs, the CIA has been trying to undermine China’s stability for decades.

“The fact that the CIA was trying to undermine China’s stability is not really news, as American harmful interference in China’s internal affairs is plainly evident,” Sachs, director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, told Xinhua.

Do not confuse these criminal opportunists with British-born Chinese people, or Chinese people visiting the UK who have not committed any crimes (domestic or abroad) and who are law-abiding and usually exemplary in their behaviour. This Tory policy is a bizarre manifestation of inverse racism falsely presented as a benevolent manifestation! The Chinese people will outlast this latest attempt of the West to undermine its cultural coherency – after-all – the year ‘2024’ is ‘4722’ in China!

China: Commemorative Stamps Issued Marking 130th Anniversary of Mao Zedong’s Birth – 纪念毛泽东同志诞辰130周年! (26.12.2023)

BEIJING, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) — China Post will issue a commemorative stamp set on Tuesday to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Mao Zedong.

A total of 7.8 million of these stamp sets, with a denomination of 4.8 yuan (about 68 U.S. cents) for each set, can be purchased at designated postal outlets and online shops over the next six months.

Each set contains four stamps, featuring the themes of persistence in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, construction of the Ming Tombs Reservoir, the holding of a global vision, and returning to the Jinggangshan Mountains.

Mao was born on Dec. 26, 1893 and died on Sept. 9th, 1976.

A golden retriever in Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County, northwest China’s Qinghai Province, was successfully rescued on Wednesday after being trapped in the earthquake for more than 30 hours. It has now been returned to its owner at the settlement. 　

China Condems EU “Anti-Tibet” Racism Whilst Exposing EU “Anti-Gaza” Hypocrisy! (20.12.2023)

GAZA, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) — The death toll of Palestinians from Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has risen to 19,667, and 52,586 others were wounded since Oct. 7, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Palestinian deaths and injuries from Israeli raids in the West Bank climbed to 301 and 3,365, respectively, according to the ministry.

In Gaza, over the past 24 hours, 214 Palestinians were killed, and 300 others injured in Israel’s raids, while a large number of victims were still under the rubble, Ashraf Al-Qedra, Health Ministry spokesman, said at a press conference held in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qedra accused the Israeli army of destroying hospitals in northern Gaza Strip and putting them out of service.
