Saying that all consumer goods are directly related to the people’s living, he added that to fully supply quality consumer goods is not merely an economic and technical affair but an important matter of valuing and defending our own things and demonstrating the advantages of our social system.

He stressed the need for industrial establishments to put production on a normal footing and steadily improve the quality of products so that the people can benefit from them, not content with the production and display of samples.

His instructions clearly indicate the criteria of thinking and practice of officials who are directly responsible for improving the people’s standard of living.

China firmly supports Palestine in becoming a full UN member and supports the convening of a more broad-based, more authoritative and more effective international peace conference, Xi added.

Xi said that China will continue to work with the international community to end the war and stop the killing, support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in continuing to provide humanitarian assistance to the Gaza people, and bring the question of Palestine back to the right track of the two-State solution to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement at an early date.

The statement emphasized the need to improve technical means to detect and identify fake accounts and malicious ranking manipulations, strictly regulating illegal activities that exploit ranking rules to manipulate lists and hype topics.

Besides content and information distribution, the campaign also focuses on the rights of workers and consumers involved in internet services.

The commission’s statement highlighted the need to prevent internet platforms from blindly pursuing profits at the expense of workers providing services.

The number of those workers surpassed 84 million in China as of 2023, according to the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. This group of workers includes food delivery riders, ride-hailing drivers and couriers.

Among them, there are 13 million food delivery riders. In recent years, these riders have often violated traffic rules to deliver food as quickly as possible, due to the requirement by food delivery platforms to deliver orders within a specified time, or face wage deductions.

The statement stressed the importance of preventing platforms from excessively reducing delivery times, which leads to more frequent delivery delays, traffic violations and accidents.

Along with Cuba, North Korea supported the People’s Liberation Army of Angola against the Apartheid Regime of South Africa; North Korea has also provided military aid to other African countries, including Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
