Having climbed a fence and walked about a quarter of a mile from a car park, myself, Gee, Mei-An, Kai-Lin and our two dogs finally made it to the edge of the Solstace Park Commercial Estate. This is technically in Amesbury – but is not far from Stone Henge – hence the name. We often drive past this structure which was finishe in 2010 and has been on display in this location since that time (13 years). However, given the weight of traffic in the area – which is adjacent to a roundabout – taking pictures from a moving vehicle proved difficult. Today, we remedied this problem by bitting the bullet and hiking to the spot on foot after stopping to charge the car and get a bite to eat.
Of course, as an act of Solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Palestine, we posed for some of the photographs holding one of our Palestinian scaffs. The Israeli fascists have murdered over 20,009 Palestinian men, women and children and maimed over 70,000 in just four weeks using weaponry (much of it illegal) provided by the US and the UK. I wonder what the ancient ancestors of the UK would make of the fact that their descendents use the life they have given them to deprive others of just exactly that same thing! Perhaps they would drop to their knees in despair!
